With one week left in the regular season, Indiana has clinched at least a share of the title. One more win and they clinch it outright. However, they have two tough games this week (Ohio State (H) and Michigan (A)), so a tie is still possible.

The home teams did very well this week, going 8-2. There were a few surprises this week:
- Indiana lost at Minnesota on Tuesday. Minnesota was ranked at one point, but no more. Indiana was ranked #1.
- Michigan lost at Penn State on Wednesday. This is the most surprising result of the season so far. Michigan was playing to stay in the title hunt, and Penn State was winless (0-14) in the Big Ten.
- Purdue won at Wisconsin on Sunday. Wisconsin is ranked, Purdue is not. Wisconsin is almost unbeatable at home. Go figure.

There are three big games this week:
- Ohio State at Indiana on Tuesday. If Indiana wins this game, they clinch the title.
- Wisconsin at Michigan State on Thursday. The loser drops out of the title race.
- Indiana at Michigan on Sunday. If Indiana loses to Ohio State on Tuesday, this game will decide whether Indiana wins the title outright or ties with one or more other teams.
