Tuesday (02/14/2012)

Ohio State won at Minnesota, 78-68

Wednesday (02/15/2012)

Northwestern lost at Indiana, 71-66

Purdue won at Illinois, 67-62

Thursday (02/16/2012)

Wisconsin lost at Michigan State, 69-55

Iowa lost at Penn State, 69-64

Saturday (02/18/2012)

Ohio State lost at Michigan, 56-51

Illinois lost at Nebraska, 80-57

Minnesota lost at Northwestern, 64-53

Sunday (02/19/2012)

Michigan State won at Purdue, 76-62

Penn State lost at Wisconsin. 65-55

Indiana lost at Iowa, 78-66

The home teams did pretty well this week, going 8-3.  There were a few surprises this week:

• Purdue won at Illinois on Wednesday.  Illinois is usually pretty tough at home.
• Illinois lost at Nebraska on Saturday.  The Illini are in a free-fall, with 8 losses in their last 9 games.  Their coach, Bruce Weber, is on the hot-seat.  It’s hard to believe that after Week #3, Illinois was tied for 1^st place in the Big Ten, at 4-1.  Now, they’re tied for 9^th place, at 5-9.
• Indiana lost at Iowa on Sunday.  Sure, it’s tough to win on the road in the Big Ten, but Indiana was ranked and Iowa is headed nowhere.

• 3 teams have losing records at home: Minnesota (2-4), Nebraska (3-5), and Purdue (3-4).
• Only 1 team hasn’t won a road game: Penn State (0-8).
