Harbaugh Faces Long Odds to Win Big Ten Championship

Four Big Ten Teams (Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Iowa) all have better odds to win the Big Ten Championship than Michigan,

Ohio State is no surprise, the Buckeyes are always favored to not only win the conference but to make the college football play-offs as well.

But last season’s collapse during an abbreviated schedule due to COVID has put the Wolverines behind Penn State, Wisconsin, and Iowa as well.

Michigan is barely favored ahead of Indiana, Minnesota, and Nebraska

Michigan will have a new re-tooled defense and needs to bounce back from last season’s stunning 27-24 loss to rival Michigan State while limping to a 2-4 finish. Michigan’s triple overtime 48-42 win over Rutgers was saved them from finishing in the basement of the Big Ten East division.

Oddsmakers are not expecting a big rebound from the Wolverines.
