  • I think Penn St. is WAY overrated! They’re a mirage and fooling the whole country. Michigan exposed them and it’s bad we couldn’t close the deal.

    Go Blue!!
  • That’s a joke right there. Ohio State has played exactly no one so far. How they are ranked ahead of LSU is a mystery and flat out wrong.

Supposedly, OSU has the #20 SOS and they have thoroughly beat the living crap out of every team on their schedule so far. Buckeyes and rivals or not, they have been impressive.

    Go Blue!!
  • How is that even possible? Wisconsin is the toughest game they have played.

Cincinnati is 8-1. Indiana is 7-2. Just sayin....lol

    Go Blue!!
  • So if Ohio State wins out, they finish 1, worst case 2
If LSU wins out, 1 or worst case 2.
Complimentary insertion of undefeated Clemson at 3.
If Bama loses to LSU, then wins out, and PSU loses to OSU, and wins out, the 4th slot goes to... $EC.  Ha

Hec, what if Georgia wins out.  You could have 3 1 loss SEC teams with a chance of getting in?  Comical.

  • The committee was like... ‘well, we have to...’

LSU and UGA can’t both win out seeing as they will play each other in the SEC Champ game. What happens if a 1-loss UGA beats an undefeated LSU/Bama team? Then you have three 1-loss SEC teams. Plus, a 1-loss PSU/OSU team, 1-loss Oklahoma team, 1-loss Oregon/Utah team.

    This year could get interesting......

    Go Blue!!
  • The #1 team in the initial rankings of the CFP has never won the national championship. The #3 team in the initial CFP rankings has never made the playoffs.

That’s what I was saying with Georgia, there’s a potential for 3 1-loss SEC teams.
Hopefully there are 6 or more 1-loss teams.  The committee’s dilemma and fanbase meltdown will definitely be interesting to watch.

    Go Blue!!
  • Lets go Penn St.

Beat OSU and make Mich vs OSU the only thing that matters to both schools as PSU locks up the big 10

  • Think about how much more fun this would be if we were talking about an 8 team CFP instead of just 4 teams?!?!
  • and your Big 10 east champion The Ohio St University.

  • Final CFP announced:

    1. LSU
    2. OSU
    3. Clemson
    4. OU

    Go Blue!!
  • Come on Dabo!
Absolutely. Another 31-0 beatdown would be wonderful.

You’ve got 2 teams who haven’t played anyone with the athletes & speed they will see facing each other so the potential for a blowout is very real. But at the end of the day I think these are fairly evenly matched teams. And when that’s the case you’ve got to look at QB, Coach & experience. All favor Clemson.

    Clemson 42
    OSU 30

I expect LSU OU to be close in the 1st half with the Tigers pulling away in the 2nd.

    LSU 55
    OU 24

    Wisc finishes 8th

Oregon vs Wisc in the Rose Bowl.

Memphis vs Penn State Cotton Bowl

the writing is now on the wall. Should be Bama vs Michigan when the Citrus announces

  • IT is the Citrus Bowl against the Tide.

all 4 teams in the playoffs in top 7 on Offense efficiency (bama is one of the other 3 in that top 7). Its no longer a game of Defense. Don Brown must go after Bama and get a guy who can hold teams to 30-40. and our Offense has to learn to score 40. because as Bama vs Auburn showed your not beating a big dog scoring 14.
  • Good. We very rarely get to play top 5 teams outside tOSU. Let’s see if the fellas have what it takes to hang with the Tide. And we can finally settle the debate whether we’re actually elite or are we just Iowa East with dumbass fans like me who expect far too much from our 8 million $ a year head coach, world class facilities & university.

    Bama 55 Michigan 21.

Don Brown is left off the team plane in Florida where he buys a house and retires with all the other old people.
  • They will be lucky to hold Bama under 60.  Our back seven lacks speed and cannot keep up with Bama's receivers.  Maybe another 50-60 point defensive meltdown will be enough to convince JH he needs to move on from Brown.
  • Great. Another beat down that will have nothing to do with coaching. And for all the world to see. Again. Should do wonders for recruiting.

LMAO Nothing to do with coaching?!?! Saban has built Bama into a dynasty the likes of which has never been seen in CFB. Haurbaugh has built Michigan into a perennial 3rd place in the B1G East program.

Does anyone here believe if Saban were hired at UM 5 years ago he’d be 0-5 against tOSU? Have never played in the B1G Championship game?

It has everything to do with Coaching.
  • Yeah, because when Saban was getting his ass kicked at MSU he suddenly woke up one day and was a great coach.  It’s called talent, pure and simple. His teams have it in spades while others don’t.  It must really take a genius to coach the top ranked recruiting class every single year.  He’s a good coach but that’s not everything. It takes great players who make great plays. Pretty basic stuff.
  • Do u really believe Bama is going beat us because Saban will out-coach Harbaugh? LOL!!
  • What’s that old line.......It’s the Jimmy’s and the Joe’s, not the X’s and O’s.

I believe Bama is going to beat us because Saban is a far superior college football program CEO than Harbaugh.

You act as though all a coach has to do is coach. And that’s simply not true. He has to recruit, develop talent, game-plan, inspire & lead.
