Who stays who goes 2019 NFL draft.
NFL is calling who stays who goes?
Bush and Gary are all but gone on Mock drafts R1 for both Bush might go higher than Gary the way he played this year. and neither can really improve their stock unless they come back and have an awesome year.
Ben Bredeson apparently rated #3 OG in the draft by Kiper. could be 2nd-3rd rounder if he decided to leave. If he returns could be a key starter on an OL that will return everyone.
Hill CB and Long CB both 3rd-5th round both have talent both too small for the typical NFL CB.... I think both could use another year and combining them with Daxton Hill who is enrolling early and could easily start year 1 could give Michigan finally the athletic ability to play 1-3 CB man to man. No more brandon watson weak links.. and With Audrey back too hopefully getting more time our secondary could be amazing next year.
Hudson Still lacks a true position. hearing 3rd-5th round just off pure athleticism if he decides to go
Shea Patterson 2 weeks ago it was reports he was 100% coming back then last week reports it was 80-20 to leave... Then he shit the bed vs OSU underthrowing and overthrowing alot of passes. His Arm strength isn't there and TBH if he comes back i'm not sure if he beats Mccaffrey/Milton for the starting job. R3-R5 are the projections ive seen.
Not sure if anyone else is missing just the talk ive been hearing thoughts?

I really don’t care who goes to the draft. What I do hope is we have some young DT’s, O-linemen & a QB who are ready to step up because this team has some serious holes to fill even if everyone comes back.
Wish them all the best.
Bush will be interesting. An absolute terror in college but will NFL teams be scared off by his size?
I dont think anyone else should declare early.
And I’m in the same boat as you GoBlue88 when it comes to Patterson...I really think McCaffry might beat him out as number 1 for next year. McCaffry just came in games and looked so natural...and made it look easy. Now I know he was playing in garbage time but still. He seems to have something at the QB position we have been missing for a long time around here.
Leaving: Bush, Long, Hill
Staying: Hudson, Metellus, Gentry, Bredeson
Unclear: Shea
is his opinion based on close sources..
That means were losing both our #1 and #2 CB #1 DE and Bush.... Could be a rebuilding year on the D next year...
Bredson confirmed he is staying... Huge Boost to the OL next year.. he was #3 OG on Kipers board. Could be Round 1 with a good year next year. Some Senior Leadership on that OL
Considering what we saw Warinner do over the course of this year, next year, this might be the best line Michigan has had in 20 years. With depth... [exhale].
Given the WR talent maturing, adding some potential game breaking athletes in this recruiting class, and the possibility for Patterson/McCaffrey and Milton in the QB room, MY OH MY... this could be an offense that can beat you any way they need.
Only thing that could make this better is having a game changer TE.
Evans misuses himself. When he plants his foot & goes he’s an asset. When he dances around trying to make people miss he’s a liability. I suspect we’ll see RB by committee next season. Unless there’s a young gun on the squad who is ready to step up & carry the load. Which I hope there is.
But back to Bredeson, him staying is definitely a win for this program. Michigan has a long tradition of O-lineman skipping the NFL tonplay their senior season. I hope it works out well for Bredeson.
Supposedly, this incoming Frosh RB is real good.
Go Blue!!
Also, what was the timeline on McCaffrey's injury? Would he have any shot at playing in the bowl game? Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing what Milton can do with a month of practice reps with the first team!!!
Go Blue!!
He has not recovered from the hip injury suffered against Ohio State, has not practiced since that game and has not been cleared to play in the Peach Bowl.
It's a no brainer decision for him. Thanks for representing University and good luck in the NFL.
Go Blue!!
Loved watching him.
What I won’t miss is seemingly every tackle where he had a clear opportunity to make a hit, I feared for a flag.
During the first play against Florida last year I can remember screaming no-no-no... when it was clear the tackle could lead to a targeting call. Thankfully it didn’t and in spite of my fears Bush kept his slate much cleaner than I thought he would.
Wish him all the best.
