WEEK 6: Michigan (#17) @ Indiana - 12:00 PM EST on ABC GAMEDAY THREAD

Michigan opens as a 5.5 point favorite over Indiana. Amazing how the narrative has changed. Both teams are at the bottom of CFB in Turnover Margin. Michigan is ranked #110 and Indiana is ranked #123.

Things I want to see:

1. NO F'N TURNOVERS!

2. NO F'N TURNOVERS!

3. NO F'N TURNOVERS!

4. NO F'N TURNOVERS!

5. NO F'N TURNOVERS!

6. Defense continuing to do it's thing.

What do you think about the game and what do you hope to see (besides a W)?

I said after the AF game we would lose too PSU, Wisky, OSU, and possibly Indiana. Never thought we'd lose to MSU, also, but I'm stuck with this. Our defense will continue to shut them down first half, but our offense will continuously put them and bad situations, and with the way Indiana throws the ball, out secondary is the weakest point in the D. 17-10 Indiana. I'm not that negative Nancy, but this offense gives me no indication we can out score them.

Ball control and getting a big edge in time of possession will be important.
This isn’t the Indiana team from 2015, but they still play fast up-tempo and get the defense on their heels.
Michigan’s defense should be able to cause havoc and get a turnover of two.

Time for Michigan’s line to stand up and take control of an opponent.

I think this is a good road test and opportunity to build some confidence before the white out.

This game will say a lot about this team and how they respond.

I cant say I really care either way. Done investing in this team. I hope they win and I'll cheer 'em on but if they lose I wont lose a second of sleep. They are no longer a priority-too many other things I can be doing.

This game is simple. If Michigan doesn't turn the ball over they win. Period. I would love to see a turnover free game this season.

Offense...dear lord just simplify the hell out of it. Find what O'Korn can do well and design plays off it. Find what our RBs do well and design plays off it. Find what our WRs can do well and design plays off that.

Keep it simple stupid.

I agree. Makes the loss to MSU less hurtful when you put football into perspective.

pretty excited about this game. My sister works for the IU athletic office and I get to be on the IU sidelines for the game. One stipulation, I cannot wear any blue and yellow. So, I will be wearing a neutral gray with a UM shirt underneath, keeping my true colors close to my heart.

What I want to see is simple: Less hubris & more humility from this coaching staff. Quit trying to be cute, quit trying to prove your NFL coaches, quit outsmarting yourselves.

I agree with BHF 100%, keep it simple stupid. If Higdon is running for 5 YAC keep feeding him. If the TE's are eating up their LB's keep throwing to them. Run O'Korn some, get him hit & into the game.

You cannot change this O now, it is what it is. An inconsistent turnover machine. So find what the kids are comfortable with & doing well that day & stick with it.

Why is it that we can't just feature ONE RB??? As has been said, Higdon seems to be our best option. Why can't we go back to the days of Chris Perry, A-Train, Mike Hart and feed ONE back the ball 20-25+ carries/game??? I am so sick of seeing us having success running with Higdon only to see him subbed out for Isaak or Evans and then watch them lose any sort of rhythm they were establishing with Higdon?!

So I would like to see us feature ONE back primarily for a change!

And I'm with BHF and Jabes. Simplify things! Coaches need to check their egos at the gate and finally come up with a solid gameplan that will be successful!!!

And lastly, I hope we see some heart from the offensive side of the ball!!! I'm sick of seeing turnovers, dropped balls, horrible reads, lazy routes, etc. Give a little help to this defense that has been carrying your asses this entire season!!!

No RB has stepped up as the #1 guy. Higdon can't block worth a squirt and has fumbled, Chris Evans is a slow starter and has fumbled, Ty Isaac has fumbled.

CFB is all about the QB and we don't have one...or an OL - you can get by with mediocre RB's and WR's...but must have an OL and QB or you're not going places.

What are we averaging probably 7-8 YAC right now? We just ripped off 3 straight runs of 10+, then call a tunnel screen?!?? Against a D that's used to playing in space. 2nd & 9 drive dies.
