Quinn Nordin (2016 Kicker, Rockford, (MI) Rockford) IS BLUE!!!!
Alot of smoke about him flipping from Penn State. Rated #1 Kicker in the nation and one of the Few kickers in recent history to get a 4 star rating.
This Morning he posted this on twitter with the #GoBlue. No official word on if he has commited but Alot of Smoke that he will flip this weekend if he hasn't already.

Not just visiting, he's spending the night at this kid's house. LOL! From the Detroit News:
“Under the exact rules, he’s going to be at my house at 12:01 he said,” Nordin told Trieu. “That’s when it’s legal for him to be at my house. He said we can watch a movie, see how well we gel and he said he would sleep over after that.”
In a phone interview with the News on Tuesday, Nordin confirmed that Harbaugh will be staying the night at his house.
“(Harbaugh) had one of the recruiting coordinators give me a call and said, ‘What do you think of this?’ It was the craziest thing I heard in my life, I was laughing so hard. It's absurd if you think about it,” Nordin said. “But it's recruiting and that's the only way you can put it. I said, “Coach, this is awesome. Let’s have a sleepover.’
“I've never heard of any coach doing anything like this at all.”
Nordin added he never thought that Harbaugh was joking, either.
“Coach Harbaugh’s word is his bond and he won’t lie to a soul,” Nordin said. “I said, ‘That’s hilarious, coach.’ He said, ‘No, we're actually sleeping over.'”
A high-school kid hanging out with one of the best, if not THE best coach in America...at his own house!! Amazing!!
P.S. I almost got in trouble here at work from laughing too loudly at this story!!!

I find it strange there's been no follow up to this story. Did Jimmy sleep over? Was he really there at 12:01 last night?

Exactly. MSU doesn't beat OSU this year without a kicker. Alabama doesn't lose to Auburn in the Kick 6 game and goes to a National Title Game if their FG kicker doesn't miss 2 FG's in the first 59:50 of that game they are downing the ball. Games are won and lost by Kickers and Kickers as good as Quin don't come around that often.
I'd rather be crushing them than rely on a kicker. About the only thing Peyton Manning ever said that was funny..........."idiot kicker." LOL.
Regardless, still haven't seen any more news on this so I'm assuming he didn't really sleep over.
Someone posted in another forum there were pictures of him at Nordin's high school. Don't think he could be there if the dead period was still in effect.

Not going to lie........it's pretty flipping weird. LOL
It's a little odd to say the least but hey, so is Harbaugh. I don't really think it's going to happen. I think he's just telling the kid he's not leaving until he has him on-board. But who knows? Maybe he'll show up with Bubbles the Chimp and Emmanuel Lewis.

The fact nothing has surfaced about him sleeping there leads me to believe it didn't really happen. I've seen tweets and reports saying he did show up at midnight and that he drove Nordin to AA for an official, but nothing about the inbetween. If he actually did sleep there, you'd think there would be something about it.

DID NOT officially visit PSU this weekend. PSU is apparently out of the running and offered another kicker mid week.
Word is its down to Michigan and USC but that his mom wanted him originally to visit michigan cause she thought PSU was too far from home so unless USC pulls some magic he is expected to be blue.
Thank God that Pete Carroll doesn't still coach at U$C!!!!
