So we're the best bad team in the country? WooHoo!!!!
I'd say the author is being a bit overly optimistic about our O. Our O-line has been somewhere between disastorous & mediocre for 3 years. Our QB will either be a transfer who couldn't hold onto his job at Iowa or a Junior who has shown absolutely nothing to indicate he's up to the task. Our RB's, well our RB's are pretty solid but without a solid O-line it doesn't really matter if you put Jim Brown back there. Our WR's...do we even have WR's? TE is solid. All of this on a team that has little to no nasty, no idea whatsoever how to win on the road or in big games, & is making the transition to an entirely new coaching staff.
With that said I do believe a 9-3 season is very realistic. IMO this entire enterprise hinges on the O-line, which I expect to be dramatically improved. Play ball control & field position on offense, stop the turnover machine, rely heavily on what should be a Top 10-15 D, & hope our punter is a stud. Do all that & we can win 9 maybe 10 games if a few bounces go our way.
Jimmy should NEVER play poker. He clearly despises press conferences, but when it was announced that his first question would come from a 1st grader it took a few seconds for him to re-gain his "game face". In the interim, his grimace was funny.

This would make a better gif, but lifting the video from MGoBlue.com is more effort than I'm willing to put in right now.
