I don’t blame any player for sitting out this season. In fact, I don’t think they should be playing at all.
I do get a kick out of MSU having to play in Ann Arbor two years in a row. And I don’t want to hear a peep out of them because we had to do it under Hoke.
And why not just get the osu game over early. That beat down would be the cherry on top of this horrible year of 2020.

Me neither. I'm reading about the potential long-term effects CV can have on the lungs and heart, which presumably would linger long after the school's health coverage ceased.
MAC cancelled their season today, and now the Big Ten is talking about potentially moving the season to Spring (when hopefully we have a vaccine).
I’m down with moving it to the spring but then when dies 2021 start? Do you push the season back a few weeks to give the players some sort of off season?
Back in March I never thought we would still be dealing with this in August. It’s been an absolute dumpster fire and it starts at the top. Zero federal leadership which caused 50 states to come up with 50 different plans with 50 different standards-as if the virus would t spread state to state. And then the people at the bottom have failed too by not wearing a damn mask. It’s literally the least you can do to help others.
America’s rugged individualism will be our downfall one day.
Yep our leadership at the top ended up to be on the bottom. Leaving things to the states created a cluster f—k. However agree that canceling the football season in the fall is the right thing to do.
Well done America and this fked up administration. Your handling of this pandemic has been nothing short of breathtaking. While every other country got a handle on it, freedumb reigns supreme in the US. Nice work.
"I wish others could see this model." That's the problem-we don't know what 'others' are doing. Sounds like M has it handled (with enthusiasm unknown to mankind) but everybody else? Whatever the case, this sucks. I could deal with the other sports being turned upside down but college football being cancelled?? (I know, I know. A bit shallow on my part but f***!)

AZ is and has been second worst in cases per capita in the US for a while. There is NO excuse for that since the state gov't saw what was happening in NY/NJ months earlier, but it didn't matter. Our governor is the former CEO of Cold Stone Creamery. Sure has been great to have a businessman in the executive chair of the state.
I never thought I would see leaders actually come out and say that granted people will die, but we need to press on. It always seems to be the types who aren't at a risk of dying who say such things. We're so far down the bowl past that now.
If you're bored or just interested, here's an interview with the biomedical researcher who discovered HIV, Robert Gallo, talking about possible ways to treat/vaccinate CV. He's of the opinion that most researchers working on a vaccine are headed down the wrong path. It's dense, riddled w/ acronyms and abbreviations, and technical at times, but it's also worthwhile and somewhat encouraging. I watched /listened to it twice, and learned a bunch. Interview starts at 36:06.
It sucks. Big time. I mean, what do normal people do on Saturdays in the fall?
But, it’s the right call. Amazingly (it shouldn’t surprise me though) we have 160,000+ Americans dead and people are very “meh, what can you do?” About it. But we cancel college football and people lose their ever loving minds!
There were senators and representatives tweeting out about how we can’t cancel college football! How about do your job better and get this pandemic under control?!
