Might be ugly?? Ha ha. OSU will roll us up like no tomorrow. Hell, TCU would kick the shit out of us. This is a 5 loss team, pure and simple.
show me those 5 losses the NW team that lost to Akron the MSU team that has been unable to score on anyone with a pulse or the WIsc team that just got beat by the mormans?
I’m always struck watching elite teams play by just how much faster, nastier & better coached they are than us. And neither team played their best football.
I dont know that we’re a 5 loss team but we’re definitely at least a 3 loss team & 3rd/4th in the B1G East. Again...

if we beat Penn State we go into OSU playing for the Big 10 championship game.

I think we can split with PSU & Wisky. MSU at night on the road? Yeah, we ALWAYS bring our A game to this one. Not hard envisioning a loss here. OSU will destroy us so there's 4. Then, play some shitty bowl against some mediocre team and don't show up for that one either. Voila! 5 losses. Doesn't mean it will happen but I'm not seeing much evidence to the contrary.
Looks like early, BYU was jet-sweeping Wisconsin to death. Surprisingly, BYU held Taylor to only 4.5 yards/carry. Wisconsin does not have the best athletes on D, but they are very good because they are aggressive. Hopefully, Michigan can take advantage of that like the mormons did.
FSU got drilled by Syracuse last weekend and they look to be a mess. The O-Line is starting a 3rd string Guard at Tackle because of how thin and banged up they are on the line.
Anyway, I'm linking this because it reads very familiar to any Michigan fan over the last several years.
Haskins will have pressure when he plays a team with a pulse! I think our D line fits that bill!!!
I know he technically played a 'road' game last week in Texas vs. TCU but Jerry World was about 70% Buckeye fans for that game. True road test at Happy Valley next week will see how good he really is...
Haskins is really good. He’ll be in NY at the end of the season if he doesn’t get hurt.
On a different note, kudos to Stanford. They were aided by Oregon turnovers but coming back to win that one on the road is very impressive. They showed the mental toughness we’ve been lacking for so long.
Stanford had no hope, yet on the 43 of Stanford with a minute left (Stanford 1-timeout), Oregon, on second down decides to run and Verdell fumbles in a pile. Stanford recovers at about the 41, still armed with a timeout.
You can’t make that crap up.
Oregon gave away that game in the second half, but that second down play was just head scratching.

Sorry, Oregon gave that game away more than Stanford came and took it. Between fumbling after having a TD reversed that would have put Oregon up 31-7 or not going to victory formation on Oregon's last drive which led to the fumble and improbable game tying fg.

We’ve got a long way to go to make the game against PSU meaningful.
And the team & effort we put on the field yesterday against SMU isn’t going to get us there.

I’d love to see us open it up like this in a big game. Attack. Attack. Attack.
