With one notable exception in 2006, Michigan and Ohio State have played "The Game" at noon or 1 p.m. for decades, and always on ABC.
That's changing, at least for a year.
Now that Fox is sharing the Big Ten package with ABC/ESPN, it gets a shot at the big games and that's the biggest one.
According to a graphic presented to Fox affiliates Monday, the company released its fall schedule, with U-M/OSU on its list.
Why is that so important? Michigan-Ohio State was by far the most-watched pre-bowl college football game of the year, with 16.8 million viewers. Alabama-Florida in the SEC title game was next with 11.0.
