  • Anyone want to take a bet when (and not if) he gets impeached?
  • I believe it was Harry Reed who said that no Supreme Court Nominee would be considered when W had 1 1/2 years left on his term. What's good for the goose....

Lord, TK you can't compare the milk toast GOP with your current Dems!!!

Tea Party? At least they acted like decent people during their rallies. Are you paying thugs to come in and cause an uproar where even our new Secretary of Education can't even enter a school Building? I'd be real proud of that one!! Anyone say "Teachers union?"

Oh! I knew you would say Trump had no clue!! How the hell do you know? I think he has done great in his first 3 weeks. Sorry but you lose.

I lose? Sorry, America lost. How do I know he has no clue? Let's take a quick look:

*Jumps up and down about having a larger inauguration crowd than Obama (when he clearly didn't), as if that's really important=2 YEAR OLD CHILD.
*Claims there are 3-5 million illegal voters, whom apparently voted against him. Try again douche bag=LIAR. (getting Democrats to even vote takes an act of God but yet somehow they were able to get 5 million illegal voters to vote against Trump. Yeah,ok)
*Kellyanne Conway "defends" Sean Spicer who parrots Trump's claim of a larger inauguration crowd with the infamous words, "alternative facts." The laugh-out-loud of the century.
*Manages to start a fight with Mexico, one of our closest allies, over his retarded wall, which the taxpayers will be paying for. The single biggest moronic move in the history of the presidency. Mexican president Nieto cancels trip to WH. Shocker.
*Manages to hang up on the Prime Minister of Australia, again, one of our closest allies. And why? Because he's a 2-yr. old who can't get his way. But yet supports Putin.
*Approved construction of the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines. Never mind he's an investor who mysteriously dumped his stock in December of '16.
*Signs wide sweeping Executive Order banning Muslims (yes, Muslims. Shall I roll video of his campaign speeches? Just say when.) Only problem is it includes green card and visa holders who were already permitted into the US, never mind the fact that it was unconstitutional and royally creamed by the federal courts, 3-0. Republican John McCain calls the travel ban roll out by Trump, "An unmitigated disaster."
*Trump fumbles raid of Yemen, killing one Navy Seal, an 8-yr. old girl and untold civilians. Why? Because he's ignorant and doesn't listen to his advisers. But hey. let's keep talking about Benghazi.
*Fires Attorney General Sally Yates because she decides to uphold the constitution and not cow tow to Trump or political persuasion, once again proving Trump has zero understanding of the law or the constitution.
*At the National Prayer Breakfast Trump calls out Arnold Schwarzenegger for having "low ratings" for The Apprentice. Total embarrassment and again, a vindictive little 2-yr. old.
*Trump's laughably vacuous comments about Fredrick Douglass during the Black History Month get-together leaves people scratching their heads, as he clearly doesn't know who Douglass was or what he did. A high school senior could have schooled Trump but instead he decides to pick a fight with CNN over "fake news." A true idiot.
*Takes to Twitter to denounce Nordstrom and the fact that they dropped his daughter Ivanka's under-performing clothing line, a clear example of the many conflicts of interest that currently reside in Donny World. Kellyanne Conway then comes on Fox & Friends (while standing in the WH) to tell everybody to buy Ivanka's "stuff", a CLEAR violation of federal ethics. Unprecedented and stunning.
*National Security Adviser Mike Flynn calls Russia 5 times to discuss Russian sanctions levied by President Obama, BEFORE Trump even takes office. He first denies this and now says he can't remember. Truly unbelievable and never heard of before.

And ALL of this is off the top of my head. I'm certain I'm leaving some key f*** ups out but it's hard to keep track. And this is only after THREE WEEKS. The fact is UMWH, you know he's unqualified and I know he's unqualified but the only difference is 60% of America knows it too, but you'll still defend him. But we'll see for how long. Let's check back in 6 months but in the meantime this reminds me of Nixon, only Nixon was actually sane. Trump has a major mental disorder that actually goes beyond just simple ignorance. He truly is insane. And you know it. Good luck!
Man, you must have a lot of hate in your heart for Trump and the GOP. Your disdain is greater than ever. Glad to see you're so close-minded. You and your buddy fought me tooth and nail on this years ago and that is why I essentially left this site. There is no room for Republicans here.

Z- frankly I do have a lot of respect for Jabes as he has the stones to say what he believes. Is that the reason why no one on this board has a good thing to say about him.

I remember why I left and, dumb me, I returned briefly.

    Go Blue!
  • UMWH, don't let these clowns run you off this board. They stand for nothing & that's why they fall for anything. Just look how quickly TK declared himself an (I), when he is clearly anything but. He's not independent in thought, he's not independent in action & he's certainly not independent as in free. He is a dependent, depending on everyone else to tell him what's right & wrong, who his enemies are, what to think & how to say it. I guarantee you he considers me more of an enemy than a Muslim terrorist who would literally kill him & everyone he loves with a smile on his face & joy in his heart. That's how seriously demented these people are.

They're empty shells spewing liberal talking points & personal insults because they have nothing of substance to add. Just look at the company they choose to keep, birds of a feather. They're followers, not leaders. They're cowards hiding in a safe space behind a failed ideology that promises to take care of everything for them. They honestly believe that the feelings of a tiny fringe minority (think trannies in the bathroom) are more important than the needs & safety of the many.

I could go on & on, but the bottom line is like Liberals everywhere the liberals here have a mouth like an alligator & a paper mache ass. Let them throw their hissy fits, it reflects on them not you. Taking the pajama boys seriously is putting them on a pedestal they simply don't rate.

  • I remember why I left and, dumb me, I returned briefly.

Oh c'mon Bob. You're being a tad sensitive here. Who cares about the political opinions of people on a forum? Especially when there's no football to talk about. We've been down this road before and I always enjoy reading your posts so don't take any of this too seriously. You and I are M fans first-the rest is just chatter.

    Phil's a republican, bro.

We know you'll be back. You'll get into a bottle of ripple late on a Saturday afternoon, and you'll start craving the attention you get here. We know how it works. It's happened before.
  • Well said TK, I don't trust any of them, their all for their special interests and not for the American public i'm not a card-carrying anything, and I basically think the American public are a bunch of idiots. March for this rally for that it's become a politically correct world and I'm sick of all of it. I voted for Pedro.....

TK, You're right. I tend to get too sensitive and we are all entitled to our beliefs.

This is a FOOTBALL board and I'll be glad to get back to that. I commented on the Tom Brady thread and pointed out I was one who thought Drew Henson was going to be th GOAT. Shows how much I know! Actually we are luck Tom didn't transfer away from UM.

Z - I may get into a bottle of wine but I didn't realize I crave attention! At my age and the health scare I had in December I'm just glad to be alive.
  • I got to be honest… This is the most entertained I've been in a long time… LOL

    Go Blue!!
  • Not to change the subject but look for Michigan to go to the Sweet Sixteen!

    Go Blue!

Now there ya' go-that's better. I, for one, am glad you're here sir.
  • The 4 major stock indexes all hit record highs, again, today.

The S&P500's market cap pushed past 20 trillion today.

90 day realized volatility on the S&P500 hits a 10 year low.

Specific tax reforms will be rolled out in the next 2-3 weeks, "phenomenal" reforms according to President Trump.

And last but certainly not least illegal alien felons are being rounded up by ICE & deported!
  • And Mike Flynn resigns in disgrace. Drip...drip...drip...
  • edited February 2017
A mistake was made & it was corrected, quickly. I really don't know what more you can ask for. Flynn is a (D) just for the record.

Had Michael Flynn been one of Obama's lackeys he'd likely be the next (D) Presidential nominee instead of out on his can...

Do you find it odd that Jason Chaffetz (R UT) won in November with 73% of the vote but at his Town Hall meeting last week, 70% of the crowd were against him?

Could it be that there is a LOT more behind this? Was this angry mob paid? Hmmmm......

Time will tell. No need to speculate now.
  • This goes a lot farther than little Mikey Flynn. Flynn is just collateral damage, someone to fall on the sword. This is the tip of the iceberg and I'm going to count how many times we hear: "What did the president know, and when did he know it?" Flynn now has the dubious honor of being fired by Obama and (for all intents and purposes) fired by Trump. He could always go to work for Putin. Again. Drip...drip....drip

Paris currently enjoying the utopia that is democratic socialism, political correctness & open borders...

"POLICE in Paris are struggling to cope with the fall out from a plague of riots which have kicked off in the city’s northern suburbs.

Five large areas have been reduced to no go areas for the past five nights as masked men cause mayhem on the streets.

Residents have been on lockdown as armed police tried to tackle the rioters who have caused millions of pounds of damage.

Police were hit with molotov cocktails and the heavy metal balls used in the French game Petanque.

And after setting cars and even a disability vehicle on fire the police have been forced to fire live rounds of bullets.

The areas of Aulnay-Sous-Bois, Aulnay, Argenteuil, Bobigny and Tremblay-en-France in the Saint-Seine-Denis district have all been affected."

The areas of Paris currently under siege are around 33% Muslim. Hmmmmm.

Thank you President Trump for doing all you can to ensure America to isn't consumed by this plague & doing all you can to keep every American safe. Even the ones who aren't smart enough to keep themselves safe.

What do you think TK & ZJ you boys ready to saddle up & move your wives & kids to one of these neighborhoods? Or is that an honor you just vote for others to receive?

Alright, I'll play. Give me three sources you "listen to" and I'll check them out. Lay 'em on me brother. Because the "boo hoo the media is so unfair" argument is weak.
  • Weak??? You are kidding, right?

I saw Mary Katherine Ham debating with Cuomo this morning and he was telling her that the conservatives (Fox) were ignoring the Russian ship off our east coast. She countered with why CNN ignored Benghazi, corruption in various departments, etc. Cuomo sat there without any answer.
  • Ah yes, the old delusional conservative narrative that MSM "ignores" stories like Benghazi. It's funny because the NY Times ran exhaustive coverage of Benghazi, as did CNN, as did The Washington Post as did 200 other outlets and publications. But please, let me know where I should be getting my news from and in the meantime I'll keep listening to Trump blame the MSM for his screw ups and watch Fox scramble to explain 'em away. It's getting quite comical.
  • Media outlets like FOXNews bang on Obama and Democrats and media outlets like CNN and MSNBC CBS and NBC and ABC bang on Trump and the Republicans… It's all part of the game. It's just there are more liberal outlets then conservative outlets.

I don't give a sh*t either way because I live in Illinois so my vote never matters… LOL

Sure. I have, unlike you I'm sure, the utmost respect for Rush and try to listen to him everyday. Yes, I watch Fox and, yes, they definitely lean right but they try to be fair about it. When I watch CNN, they'll have a panel of 7 or 9 and have ONE conservative whom they bury.

I assume you graduated from UM and I know you're an intelligent guy so how in God's name can you think the last 8 years were so good and WHY can't you give Trump a chance? My lord, he has only been in office 3 1/2 WEEKS!! You people are something else. You better come to grips with the fact you lost and give the other side a chance. Your senate confirmations votes are a disgrace and if you keep physically protesting everything the man does does not bode well for OUR USA.

UMWH, you're giving tk FAR too much credit. He thinks the media is credible & Trump is the joke.

I heard some babbling moron on CNN the other day actually declare that Russia's hacking of our "election", & by that he means the hacking of the DNC, was tantamount to an act of war on the same scale as Pearl Harbor & 9-11. Seriously, he actually went on tv & said that & worst of all that happens constantly. The MSM (Fox included) has devolved to become nothing more than Fifth column propaganda for those void of any critical thinking ability.

    .

Fox leans right? Good Lord be serious. Yep, Sean Hannity is all about "fair and balanced." And this whining about giving Trump a chance is lame. Obama had to deal with the Tea Party but Trump should get a free pass? Is that it? He has Congress, the Supreme Court, everything he could possibly want tee'd up a mile high. And in 3 1/2 weeks we have two investigations (ethics and intelligence), a disgraced National Security Adviser, and a 2nd who turned the job down (actually this was all in the past 48 hours.) But hey, let's blame the media when their only job is to roll a tape recorder while Trump and his closet, er, cabinet say one dumb thing after the next. Putin's hand puppet has got himself in hot water and none of it was the media's doing. And you can bet John McCain is licking his chops to stick it to Trump. It would be pure entertainment if it wasn't so dangerous. But keep listening to Fox as they blame Hillary, Obama, the liberal media, Hollywood, Ronald McDonald, and the tooth fairy. I realize accountability is short with this administration but quit blaming everybody else for his mistakes. It's boring. The media created this game show host-now we ALL have to deal with it.
  • Thursday is/was a perfect example of the media spinning Trump during his press conference as unhinged or hysterical (left), while others thought he was being defiant and in control (right).

Regardless, all this nitpicking is ridiculous and media fodder because at the end of the day, if he improves the economy, if he gets tax reform through, if he gets ObamaCare repealed and replaced, etc, then it's not going to matter. On the flip side, if he doesn't get that stuff through and people's lives don't change, then he could have all the positive press in the world and it isn't going to matter.

We tend to exaggerate the importance of Trump's media sessions or the media's Trump coverage, because it all boils down to the results Trump gets or doesn't get.

    Go Blue!!

You are exactly correct. His biggest problems in getting his agenda for improving the economy, tax breaks for stimulation and repealing and replacing Obamacare are several guys in his own party,

    Thank you, SDB. 'Nuf said.

    Go Blue!!

  • His presser was pretty much his usual M.O. The usual bluster sprinkled with a few lies (if you're going to be obsessed with the Electoral College results you should at least get it right) followed by whining about the "dishonest" media and leaks. Leaks that he LOVED just a short few months ago. Wonder what happened? All of it adds up to just another diversionary tactic to keep eyes off of his From Russia With Love problem, presented as a campaign speech aimed at his shrinking base. Unfortunately, nobody told him the campaign is over. But this is just the wrapping paper. He'll be judged by his policies so I'll wait patiently to see what he does.

    Liberal hypocrisy knows no bounds...
