If u quit on us, screw u now! We don't want no halfway hearted kids. Quitting when it's tough. Go play at Maryland. THOSE WHO STAYED WILL BE CHAMPIONS!

I get the sentiment but this is part of the reason we are where we are today. We check the egos at the door and take back anybody who is willing to come back. "This is Michigan" didn't work real well for us the last time and you can't blame a kid for reconsidering when a program is in complete turmoil losing it's AD and coaching staff in the space of a month.

Completely agree with this sentiment and believe I posted somewhere ITT that this kid seems like he'll be a "me-first" type of problem, but #4 doesn't strike me as a guy who will allow that. Not only might this kid now come, but he'll learn how to be a man and a football player, while he and the program benefit.

the difference between Clark and someone like Damien Harris is Clark has been true to what he said he reopened his recruitment but Michigan has and is still a top 2 top 3 to him And he Talks about them on his twitter a lot. he just wanted to let the dust settle and not have to find out down the road we got Brady Hoke 2.0 in mid Jan after whiffing a Coaching search and be stuck. I fully expect him to recommit.

But.....will he be able to learn to clap and obsessively smack butts for no good reason?
I don't except any kid who decommited to re-commit...
Go Blue!!
IDK if he's thinking about his future NFL prospects I think he will recommit. Mora isn't known for turning NFL TE's and Mora might jump the NFL. If this kid is happy being a 6th round pick go to UCLA if you want First round pick come to the new Tight end U and let the man who got 5 TE's drafted in 4 years coach you.
So did Marrow try and get him to go to Kentucky? That can be the only reason I see for contacting Clark while entertaining the idea of taking the Michigan job, only to then turn it down.
Don't see how UCLA could put on a better presentation. The kid loves Jim Mora though and has a longer relationship with him than Harbaugh. If he goes with his head it'll be Michigan. Who knows where his heart is though.
He's never been out west...so all UCLA really has to do is take him to the beach and line him up with a few string bikinis as chaperones and they'll have him sold...
UCLA didn't throw a pass to a TE all year and they haven't been a big part of UCLA's offense since Mora Jr. arrived. Unlike the pitch he got from Harbaugh and Co, they had no tapes to show him of how he`ll be used.
That said, the standard practice for a situation like this is selling that that "we haven't used X position because they haven't had a player like you!" Now whether Clark and his family see through that we`ll have to see. The relationship with Mora Jr. and Rosen probably trumps logic unfortunately.

Let the Rumor Floodgates on every recruit between here and Mexico Begin.

Wouldn't this seem to be a good thing for us? Announcing on the 4th, when he hasn't even been to UCLA yet?
This kid seems highly volatile...who knows what he'll say on Feb 4th...he might announce he's going to eat cheerios for lunch. Lol
Go Blue!!
Maybe he'll pull a Cardale Jones and announce he's staying in high school.
Go Blue!!
Harbaugh in-home visit today.
