I like them. It is not an obnoxious change.  But you are always gonna have the traditionalists on this board that will be against any changes.

Proud to be a traditionalist!

Are we trying to look like a small high school team?

I don't understand how blue pants would make us look like a high school team. Please elaborate. Plus, the color blue is already in our color scheme. It's not like we are introducing new colors or different shades of blue

High school teams often make changes for simply the sake of change. We have a number of hs teams wearing all blue.....

I agree I liked the all white for ROAD games.

You better be more concerned about the academicians taking over intercollegiate athletics at UM. Jmo.

Matching shirts and pants on a football field is no good, particularly if the helmet is predominantly the same color.  It's just too much.

There's nothing better than a plain blue jersey with maize numbers, and all maize pants with a small blue block M.

Exactly.  I have a better idea: forget the uniforms and win a conference championship.  Now THERE is some change for ya'.

Not sure I agree.   Penn State's away uniforms are all white with a white helmet and they are pretty cool

I think zigm02 is talking about the home uniform and so am I.  I like the all whites ROAD unis they used in 75 and 76 but NOT all blue.

I`d rather have all blue than all white personally. As mentioned, Penn State already wears an all white combo, as does Alabama. I've always said don't touch the home jerseys but the road look could use improvement. I`d look strongly at changing the road combo to white jersey with blue pants.

We've experimented with an all white look for practice but haven't rolled them out for games. Anything is better than the highlighter yellow pants and white that we wear now.

p.s Changing pants is not an alternate jersey. And I`ve always laughed at the fact that people have no issues with the basketball team wearing every jersey combo in the book and thinking it's cool but god forbid we touch the football jerseys.

I mean seriously, calm the hell down on the jerseys.

No Fireworks! No standing! No cheering too loudly! No alternate uniforms! NO FUN ALLOWED!!! Signed the UM Regents.

However, I do agree with the home jerseys. They are perfect. Have all the fun you want with the road ones-or better yet, bring back the road jerseys from the late 90s with the block M on the sleeve.
