Les Miles will introduce Cam Cameron as LSU's new offensive coordinator on Friday.
LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette said Thursday evening that Miles has notified his players that Cameron will be taking over for Greg Studrawa, who remains as offensive line coach.

New LSU offensive coordinator Cam Cameron's contract with the Tigers will pay him $3.4 million over three years, the school said Wednesday in a statement.

Much of the money is back-loaded. The former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator will make $600,000 in his first year, then see his salary jump to $1.3 million in his second year, then $1.5 million in the third year. The contract expires at the end of the 2015 season.

The contract is still pending approval by the LSU Board of Supervisors.

Cameron's salary will far exceed that of his predecessor, Greg Studrawa, who made about $500,000 in the 2012 season. Studrawa replaced Steve Kragthorpe, who was making $700,000 when he accepted a demotion to quarterbacks coach to help him deal with his newly diagnosed Parkinson's disease prior to the 2011 season.

Kragthorpe's predecessor, Gary Crowton, was making $450,000 when he left LSU for Maryland after the 2010 season.

Cameron spent his past five seasons with the Ravens before losing his job during the regular season's stretch run. Baltimore went on to win the Super Bowl.

Damn, that is a lot of jack...

Go Blue!!

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.
