Wheatley just landed a job in the NFL. That helps Michigan with his kid almost as much as hiring him would.

Because Tyrone won't be recruiting his son to play for him anymore.

Shouldn't Edwards have been in the same boat? Legacy or whatever.

Isn't/wasn't high enough caliber. Looks like Wheatley Jr will be.

If (when?) Derrick Green chooses a school other than Michigan, I wouldn't have a problem with throwing a late offer out to Berkley.

While I do think Michigan should have extended something to BE I do not consider him legacy.  TWII is legacy and fully expect the staff to extend an offer.

That's exactly it... I don't care if MSC son walks through the doors, if he can't catch, throw, run, tackle, etc, he's got no business playing for Michigan.

If I was Hoke, here's my conversation with BE:

"My hearts for my family, BE, my brains and my balls are for business and this is business. You got me?"

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

I was just asking a question, not beating a drum. I dont understand the whole "legacy" thing. (probably because im the farthest thing from that, and glad)......Im just wondering why wheatley is a legacy and Edwards wasnt, thats all. I didnt know recruiting stars played into the legacy calculation, but now I know that part.
