OK, so we got Blake Countess but who else.  I am pretty sure I remember at least 3 (Fuller, O'Daniel and Diggs).  Who else have we recruited and managed to get?

My point is based on recent history we have at best a 1 in 4 chance of landing this kid so I am not getting my hopes up.

1. We didn't miss on Diggs. Hoke isn't in the business of recruiting players who get arrested for aggravated assault and spend part of their high school lives with a police ankle bracelet on.
 
2. We didn't miss on O'Daniel, either. We had two linebacker spots open at the time, and they were taken by McCray and Gedeon. If we had pursued O'Daniel hard, he would be on our commitment list.
 
3. We "missed" on Fuller....you'll have to excuse me if I don't lose a lot of sleep over losing a kid to the school his brothers play at. Nobody was ever getting Fuller except Virginia Tech.
 
To say we have a 1 in 4 chance at Mustipher based on completely unrelated recruits...I can't even begin to wrap my mind around that logic.

1/4 is probably better overall then the number of offers to commits we put out on a yearly basis. Can't find a number for this year but a story a few years back looked like we offer close to 200 kids a year.

EF, try not to get your panties in a bunch.  All I was saying was that IMO and based on recent pattern analysis I would not hold out hope that we actually have a snowballs chance in hell at bagging this kid.  Besides, this is recruiting what does logic have to do with it?

Good looking prospect....I like the fact Longs #1 pick is still in the heads of our younger recruits, plus, If Lewan does leave, and gets a first rounder, its just gonna multiply our appearance as a NFL maker...at least on OL, for now......At least a bright spot appears When Lewan leaves.....

Mattison was at Good Counsel yesterday and saw Mustipher and DE Jesse Aniebonam. Might be visiting for the Spring Game.
