Ohio linebacker choosing career over concussions

A former Ohio State linebacker said he is giving up his chance to make it in the NFL and instead will go to law school because of his concerns about concussions. Andrew Sweat suffered three concussions while he played as a Buckeye in the Big Ten, including a serious one in the middle of his final year on the field for The Ohio State University. http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/05/16/ohio-state-linebacker-choosing-career-over-concussions/ Hard to argue with his reasoning. Besides he can have a long career defending Buckeye players after he finished law school

C'mon Phil, this is from the onion right? I find it hard to believe someone who went to tO$U is intelligent enough to make this decision. In all seriousness though, it's good he's looking out for his health and at least has the wherewith all to realize he could get severely injured. It's also a luxury at least for him that he has the mental capacity to do something other than football, a lot of players don't.
Hail to the Victors! UM vs. the SEC: 23-6-1 Rest of the B10 vs. the SEC: 74-91-5 Enough said.
