ESPN- No postseason, OSU focuses on UM

As Meyer prepares to begin his first season as Ohio State's coach, he already knows there's only one game that really matters to Buckeyes fans: the Nov. 24 finale against Michigan at Ohio Stadium. "It's a clear, definitive game," Meyer said. "It's so much different than Florida." It's on!

It's O$U's last game of the season and yes, it is the biggest game in college football, but Meyer is looking for anything to motivate his team. Meyer has a hard job to do...one the requires planning for the future but also engaging the Seniors to help them feel special and go out on top. It's an interesting dynamic and one Michigan struggled with in 2008. He could lose the team very fast in the Seniors don't buy in. Go Blue!!
Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

Meyer will play the "everyone's out to get us, its us against the world" card like Kiffin did the last 2 years at U$C.

With No bowl game, no stake in the conference race, I think the bucs will lose a couple games they shouldn't. When a team is in the conference race, it motivates them to prepare, and pull together to come back in games they are down. Osu just won't have that this year. But, yes, they will be more than motivated/prepared to play michigan. I also suspect puttting in a new offense will cause some hiccups as well for them. But as much as we talk about Meyer and his offense, lets not lose track of the real success of osu under tressel...that being tough, suffocating defense, and strong, reliable special teams. Will be interesting to see if that continues...
