Finally, U-M center David Molk was selected with the 19th pick of the seventh round by the San Diego Chargers, with the 226th overall pick, as the fifth center drafted. He was followed later in the round by receiver Junior Hemingway at pick No. 238 by Kansas City the 31st pick of the seventh round.

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

Thought Molk and Hemmingway would both go higher. On the right team Molk could be quite a catch.

So Michigan had 3 players drafted....yikes. No way Woolfork or Shaw make a roster, they are practice team guys. RVB might make an active roster...

I think Illinois had more people drafted than we did, haha. Bama had like 5 dudes in the 1st/2nd round and 8 total drafted.

Go Blue!!

Illinois had 4 players drafted before Michigan or O$U had 1. Zook couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag but he could pick and land talent. Not the first year its happened either.

Zook is also a crook....basically saying I'll get your kid into the NFL, but we'll probably suck as a team in the process...lol

I'm surprised no one has taken Koger yet. He can run block, he's big, and he can catch a bit (not great hands, but fairly good ones).

stunned  that hemi when in the 7th round. Based on all the camps he was looking awesome! His combine workouts supposedly vaulted his status, as he ran 4.5 to go with that big body and great pair of hands.

Koger's injury kept him from being drafted. He'll have to rehab and catch on as a free agent somewhere.

The tape doesn't lie...Junior struggles to get separation; I don'tcare how big and strong you are (i.e. Mike Willians from U$C$), if you cannot get away from defenders, the QB cannot throw you the ball.

Koger tore an achilles and had surgery to repair it.

Carolina needed Molk. Our center is great, but hes up there in age now, needs to strart grooming a replacement. You know, a molk style center, maybe pack a few more pounds on him, and let him wait in the wings and learn and groom him into a franchise player. Oh well. SD got themselves a great bargain!!!
