I took the Wonderlic Test

UMGoBlog Post: I took the Wonderlic Test - By: Lance Callihan "Now, I can say after taking the test that about 45 of the questions weren’t that hard, but made you think a few seconds or were worded in a way that forced you to step back and figure out what exactly the question was asking. And with only 0:14.4 (seconds) to answer each question, if you want to try and finish them all, you know you have to answer fast."

Atta boy Morris... Go Blue!! Wow. I answered the two sample questions in a matter of seconds, and everyone I've ever know could do the same. A 4?!? If you ever wanted proof of how terrible the SEC is in regards to its academics, look no further.

Shouldn't you get a higher score by just purely guessing?

I've heard Claiborn has a learning disability. Still, a 4 is pretty ridiculous

jthorp24 Shouldn't you get a higher score by just purely guessing? There are several versions of the Wonderlic test out there but mine had about 20 multiple choice (3 options). So yes, its really hard to get under an 8.

jthorp24 Shouldn't you get a higher score by just purely guessing? Yeah, no kidding. My god, you could throw darts at the answers and score better than 4. The test I took a few years back had so many questions that seemed like they were written by a child, it was stunning to think someone could miss so many of them. Yikes.

So yes, its really hard to get under an 8. After reading another board... supposedly there are 50 questions and you aren't penalized for wrong answers. So if there is 4 choices by pure luck you should at least get a 12.5... if there are 5 choices you should get at least a 10.

So if there is 4 choices by pure luck you should at least get a 12.5... if there are 5 choices you should get at least a 10. No jthorp24. Like I said, the version I took had 20 multiple choice questions, with there being 3 options (EX: A, B or C). So by purely guessing you should be able to get atleast a 6 or a 7. One of the options was always crazy, so a 10 should be the bar minimum, with guessing. The other 30 were fill in the blank or another example of a question was to draw a line on this image to create 4 squares and a triangle. Honestly, I wasn't close to finishing all 50 questions either. I got a 38 out of the 49 I answered and the 50th was a paragraph long and asked to do 5 different calculations. If you're going to even finish all 50, they make you earn it.
