Wanted to enroll early, USC pushed that back. Tore his ACL in the spring. It's shady business to basically "cut" a guy because of an injury, but from Michigan's standpoint, you definitely don't start re-recruiting him.

The reason I don't think we re-recruit him is because his health status is definitely uncertain. I would never advise us to drop a kid after he gets injured, but we should approach with caution on a kid with questionable health.

This kid has potential. ACLs take about a year to heal so he would be ready this spring. Or, redshirt him and give him another year to strengthen the knee/gain confidence in it and have him ready to go in 2014. Michigan Alum Class of 2008

Do we know what his interest level was before the USC verbal? I say it's a no brainer. That size and speed, you definitely see if you can bring that into the fold injury or not. It's one thing if he injured it this year or he's injured every year.

IF the kid is interested and rehabilitation is looking good I say offer the scholly. It is not exactly like we have a full house of 6'3 205lb wide receivers running around A2! GO BLUE!

The staff only planned on taking 3 wideouts in this class and we have 3 committed already. They'll still take Treadwell but that's it.
