MONSTER at both football and basketball. Already has offers in both sports from MSU, Florida, Notre Dame, Indiana. Rumored to be an MSU lean, but we'll see what happens.

He doesn't have an offer from Beilein yet, but that's just a technicality, because Beilein never offers kids this early.

Wondered if I'd see something about him on here. GR Christian is my alma mater, and he just started getting serious about football. Would the coaches let him play both sports?

Christian High just got a new basketball coach (Steve Majerle, brother of ex-NBAer Dan Majerle)- Steve has a great coaching pedigree around here, and I think that'll benefit Drake in terms of development. My only question is whether he'll develop more on the court or on the field. He hasn't played football as long as he's been playing basketball, so I would think his football ceiling is higher at this point.

He'll get ranked in both sports. Pryor was a 5 star in both sports on rivals. #28 overall in bball if I remember correctly.

I was kinda suprised that Hoke even bothered to offer Harris in the first place. He's a Sparty all the way. Hope for the kid's sake he figures out that he won't succeed at either sport if he insists on playing both.

We have to do a better job of recruiting the skill positions across the board, particularly outside of the Midwest. Bailey and the Holmes (class of 2014) kid also out of Florida would be a step in the right direction when it comes to WR. The elite WR issues is tied to the same issues preventing us from land elite talent at CB and RB. A majority of the best skill position players hail from outside of the Midwest, where we've done an average job of recruiting to date. We're putting in a bigger effort outside of the Midwest now, just have to wait for the returns.

I suppose with the RB's and OL we've recruited, and the focus on "man ball," an elite WR is not a huge priority as well.  If you can run the ball effectively 30+ times a game, you can get away with 3 and 4 star level types and hope for an occasional home run.
