Braylon's younger brother just ran a 4.35 at the underclassman combine according to TomVH. He's unranked so far.

What are the chances that he gets offered? We haven't had a back with this kind of speed in a long while, and he would be the perfect recruit to replace Vincent Smith's role in the offense.

We didn't offer the kid from GA and probably would have gotten him on the spot if we had so I`d be a little surprised if we offer this kid (unless there's a sudden growth spurt) . He is a legacy so you never know.

Gotta say, I've watched a lot of highlight videos in the 10 or so years I've followed recruiting. This is the first one where a guy has tried to put up his 40 time during the video.

Hilarious stuff

Meaning he legitimately looks like he runs a 4.35? At this point if they don't offer him as an athlete or third down back type of player I'll be angry. He'll put 10 more solid pounds of weight on and be one hell of a mismatch for any defense, and would be an excellent addition to the talent we're already stockpiling.

I don't know if he runs a 4.3 or not. I know counting from a dead sprint instead of starting form zero is BS.

Tom VH reported him running in the high 4.3s-low 4.4s so I wouldn't be surprised if he has legitimate speed, even at higher levels. I think I've found that fringe recruit that I'm going to personally pull for, especially considering he's the brother of my favorite all-time Wolverine.

Wouldnt be the first time a recruit felt shunned by his favorite team, (im guessing at that), just to go to their arch rival for payback. Cause that would never happen either, right? ;)
