Mock Rock is a high-energy variety show fundraiser featuring skits from Michigan's varsity student-athletes.

C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital will once again be a beneficiary of the student-athlete variety show. The Family and Hope Fund provides aid to families whose child’s illness has created extraordinary financial hardships or other types of challenges. This year, SAAC is proud to announce that the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy of Detroit is the other beneficiary. The academy gives students a leadership-focused education rooted in engaging and high-performance schooling.

Mock Rock was started by a group of Michigan student-athletes in honor of the late wrestler Jeff Reese. The money raised from the first events endowed a scholarship in his name. In subsequent years, the proceeds were given to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and other local charities as designated by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Donation information is available on the Mock Rock website for individuals who cannot attend the event but wish to help Mock Rock reach its goal of $100,000 this year. Last year’s event raised over $90,000 for charity.

Tickets for Mock Rock are $30 for VIP seating and $15 for general admission and can be purchased online at mockrock.org or at the Michigan Athletic Ticket Office (1000 S. State St.) during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Students can purchase a ticket for $12 with a valid M-Card.
