Nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if the kid still wants to be a Buckeye and admitted it to his dad, who then felt like he needed to soften his stance on the Buckeyes in order to leave the door open there.

It's not OSU's fault that there happened to be a pervert on patrol, it's OSU's fault for not keeping closer track of the recruits while they're visiting. The parents wonder why these kids were even put into a situation where a man could buy them a drink, pervert or not.

LMAO, recruits getting to see how truly crazy some Buckeye fans really are.

This has nothing to do with how crazy some Buckeye fans are. This is an anomaly and is unfortunate to say the least.

We may hate Buckeye nation with a passion, but it pains me to see Wolverine fans laughing at it all over the internet. It's creepy and even though he happens to be a Buckeye fan he's far from the norm, and he just ruined an opportunity for an extremely talented athlete.

Thing is, its not an anomaly. The sex offender part of the story may be, but crazy Buckeye fans acting completely irrational and over the top is not. Every fan base has its share of bad apples, Michigan included. O$U has a higher number than most though, and the level of crazy for their bad apples is MUCH higher than other places.

I was genuinely concerned for Kyle Kalis and his family after he decommitted and chose Michigan. The death threats and other things aside, I would not put it past some fan with a completely warped perspective on sports.

I still laugh thinking about when I told the parents of an O$U recruit at a wedding last summer in Chicago that O$U and Tressel we're as dirty as they come and sh*t was coming down soon so to be careful. They thought I was absolutley crazy because of how impressed they were with the program. I wonder how those parents feel now about that mess of a program in Columbus....haha

"You don't want your son to go to a place where there's a potential issue (like this)," Sal Anzalone said. "You expect the (football) staff to have some sort of control on how things are handled with recruits when they visit. This is ridiculous.

"I was concerned with what recruits do, and with them being allowed to visit these kind of places where it puts kids at risk. That's the issue. You entrust people (at the school) to do the right thing."

Sal Anzalone lets loose on O$U...He said something is just not right at O$U.

His dad said this was the tipping point. I don't think anyone really knows what happens, so maybe we should reserve laughter for later, but to assume we shouldn't be laughing is to suggest you know something we don't.

Again, I hope this turns out to be a dad realizing that Urb's running a corrupt, dysfunctional program. That would make me laugh.
