Hoke said today in his press conference..........Also said they were appealing.  I don't know why.  Just let it go and he'll be a stud next year.

I'm sure Isaac isn't pumped about having to sit out a year...but unless he's an absolute game changer and that much of an upgrade from what we can put on the field, I'm not all that stressed about it.

Pretty much what I expected...but I like our RBs for this year + we have Issac through 2017 now!

Yeah, this is what I was thinking.  We will still have Issac with 3 years of eligibility remaining plus we also have Weber coming into the fold next season as well!  Our stable of running backs will be loaded to say the least starting next season!

Sure the kid wants to play right away but this is for the best team wise.

We have him through 2017 IF he doesn't leave early for the draft. He will still be draft eligible the same time Green and Smith are-after next season.

I guess I'm in the minority on this one.  the way I see it, there's no clear-cut #1 RB right now, and since 2014 is regarded as a make or break year for hoke, I think we need all potential options on the table.  if isaac can be a gamechanger, we need him right now, not a year from now.  who knows, maybe isaac is/would have been better than green/smith/DJ.

obviously, it's unlikely that our entire offensive production would be so reliant on a single RB, but if he is a special back, it's important that he plays RIGHT NOW.  since we have weber already committed for next year, and will more than likely continue to recruit great RBs in the future, there's really no point in wishing that isaac not play this year, when we NEED all the help we can get

Bet he really, really wishes he had just came to Michigan in the first place.  Our luck we get him one year, he is phenomenal and then leaves for the draft.

We have to be at the point where we don't depend one one guy for a position to succeed. We signed 2 highly talented 2013 guys, one or both of them need to be a stud. Alabama, Oregon, Stanford, etc are never without THE guy. They develop young guys throughout so they're never left holding the bag.

That's how real depth works.
