Michigan Football: Projecting Post Spring 2-Deep Depth - Monday, April 28, 2014 9:21 AM

Michigan didn’t release an official depth chart following spring practice. The following is a projection based on interviews, the spring scrimmage, and hunches while ignoring injuries that will be healed by the first game of the season.

Pretty good article, Phil. Only thing I really see differently is at CB. Most of the time when we have gone Nickel it is Countess who slides down and Lewis comes in on the outside. It was that way last year as well. Time will tell.
Top Choices:
1. Jeremy Pruitt 2. Rhett Lashlee 3. Jake Spavital
4. Josh Heupel 5. Chad Morris

Agree with most of your depth chart, Phil...but wonder if Justice Hayes might be the Slot back-up to Dennis Norfleet...as well as, the KR/PR back-up...& Drake Harris gets some PT at either of the WR spots.

Also, thought Kugler was going to be the next great Michigan center but he's now penciled in as a RG back-up? Nice to see Hagerup back as the main punter...just hope he learned his lesson & stays "clean"! Thought Dymonte Thomas was ready to be a FS starter...hope Delano Hill is up to the task!

Peppers is definitely the wildcard...if he's as good as advertised, I could see him starting at CB or safety by the start of B1G play and getting some chances at KR/PR!

I forget which coach said after spring but Hayes is strictly RB now. Not bouncing at all between RB and slot.

Kugler is going to play at center but he's also worked his way up the guard chart. Get the best ten OL on the 2-deep you can.

I see Thomas starting over Hill when all is said and done, but that wasn't the case in the spring game. Will be a battle entering fall camp.

Thanks for clearing up my questions, UMW5
