Why is it that we have been wearing our away uniforms for the last three bowl games? Does anyone know how that is determined? I think our blue ones are so cool and have an intimidation factor

Dave chose to wear away jerseys last year so he could make more money. We could've worn our home jerseys.

I asked the same thing today walking by the Fiesta Bowl Museum in Scottsdale.. They had our helmet and jersey in the window and it was away, and KSU had their home jerseys. Shoot the last time off the top of my head we had home jerseys was against Tesas in the Rose Bowl, I could be wrong though.

Um...it's nothing sinister, or anything complicated at all. The bowls alternate. This year in the BWW Bowl the Big 10 team is the "road" team, and the Big 12 team is the "home" team. MSU wore their home green in it last year, Iowa wore their white the year before, and their home before that, and Minnesota wore their roads in 2009, and their homes in 2008, etc.

Last year's Outback Bowl was an exception because like WW said, Brandon had the asinine alternates he wanted to wear, and they were white.

(And Michigan was the "home" team in the Gator Bowl against Miss. State on New Year's 2011, btw. Wore the blue then.)

So,  I take it our game day jersey will be white? I was not sure so I have both my home and away jerseys ready. I figured I'd stand in front of the TV and when I see them take the field, I 'd just put on the appropriate jersey.

He made more money because they sold the jerseys at mden shops. It was a one time only alternate.

I could give two shakes what they wear. Just go out and play like the ND or Ohio game. That's all I want.

I don't know what they looked like on TV, but in the stands it was really hard to decipher who was on the field if play was at the other end.  Yellow on white on a bright sunny day's a bad idea.  I just googled the jerseys and they actually look pretty nice, but I couldn't see sh!t for the most part.
