"I can honestly say, I wasn't really -- as coach (Rich Rodriguez) would say -- 'all in for Michigan' my freshman year (in 2010)," Lewan said. "But, without a doubt, Michigan (now) has a special place in my heart. I love this place. So much. Regardless of records.

"I'll always consider myself a Michigan man."

Interesting to hear him say he admitidly wasn’t “all in for michigan” when that was Rich Rods theme.

I won’t miss him…not a great leader, but I think he was more effective when playing with veteran leaders next to him, not so much when he was ‘the guy" who had to lead the youngsters.

If he thinks him and his teammates got some heat this year….just wait until he gets to the NFL where the fan bases are simply psychotic in most cities and will flip flop weekly….sometimes daily, haha

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

But honestly, when the University itself, the boosters, the program alumni and even many in the Athletic Dept, weren't "all in" why should we expect the players to be.

I doubt he had a "hard edge."

"Hold the rope"
"Hard edge"

So glad that douche is gone. Of course we are still stuck with adidas' moronic marketing. (didn't have anything to with RR) This company BLOWS. Nike is 10x better.

I'd take Lewan on my team, he has a nasty edge to him.  I really don't care if he is a leader or not.  I just need my LT to block.

So if he wasn't "all in" what was it that he wasn't doing? It sounds to me like he wasn't putting in maximum effort. That kind of stuff shows up in games. It can also be contagious with teammates.
