I wish Michigan played with the same intensity that both of these teams are playing with.

We did. Last week.

One week isn't good enough.  Not for Michigan football.  MSU wiped the floor with Michigan in November.  Intensity is lacking for this football program.  Has been for many, many years.

Agreed, but you have to start somewhere.

Shouldn't have to start anywhere.  It's Michigan.  Tell me that this team couldn't get up to play Iowa? Nebraska? Akron? Uconn? I can keep going.

They didn't get up for those games. But you have to admit that Hoke walked into a program that was anything but Michigan-like. He had to rebuild. We were a young team that had to learn how to play big boy football. I think they grew up in that Ohio game. Now, that's the effort they need every game next year.

I know this sounds crazy, but I think Michigan exposed the O$U D last week...

Go Blue!!

As predicted.  I knew those frauds couldn't handle MSU-what a joke at #2 in the country.  Now they're #2 in the Big Ten. HA HA HA!!  Go FSU!

I don't think Langford graduated from 3rd grade, haha.

Go Blue!!

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

I will admit that Hoke walked into garbage but his declining record is cause for concern.  Next year is the put up or shut up year.  Bringing back Borges means Hoke will go down with his ship.

Fitting that O$U scored 24pts straight tonight and their winning streak stopped at 24.

Rodriguez walked into garbage too.  Carr left him Zoltan Mesko.  Rod at least changed DC's to at least TRY and get something going.  Hoke is heading in the same direction as Rod (and hopefully out the door).  The only difference being he keeps the worst OC in the country, which is why he's not a major college football coach.  Good coaches surround themselves with other good coaches.

Do you even believe the nonsense that you write?  Rebuild what?  He went from 11-2 with mostly someone else's players all he way to being lucky to get to 7-5 with more of his own players.

Hoke walked into a team good enough to win the Sugar Bowl, not sure how one would consider that him walking into garbage

He inherited a helluva lot more than Rodriguez did, that's for sure.  The only problem of course is that Hoke has spent the last 2 seasons proving the Sugar Bowl was a complete and utter fluke.

How funny or sad is going to be that osu won 24 straight and have nothing to show for it? No bowl win, no big title and no national title.

Truth is if tOSU had to play in the B1G championship game last year and a bolw game, they probably lose at least once, so they were lucky to have the excuse of sanctions to begin with.

We have more talent than Sparty on offense...but not even close on defense.

Actually, Michigan should--and probably does--have more talent on both sides of the ball than Sparty (how can they not w/ all the program and a UM education should deliver?), but absolutely ZERO clue how to develop that talent.

I LOVE when the Buckeyes lose big games. It feels like a bye week Michigan victory.

I run into a lot more Buckeye fans in Cali than I do Sparty fans. I'm incredibly pleased right now that they can shut up about their damn streak.
Good luck RR! Go Hoke! Go Blue!

If I could take this to the bank at least it would be something to look forward to, but I'm not even sure it's true given Brandumb's giant ego and his alignment with Hoke.  I have a sense of foreboding that next season will be more of the same and BorGenuis will finally be the sacrificial lamb after another crappy bowl game in December 2014.

Nonsense? Riiiiiiiiiiight.

If you can't see the house of cards RR left here through poor recruiting then I can't help you. We are STILL paying for his complete negligence of both lines.

Like Scottsdale said, 2014 is put up time for Hoke.

If we finish 7-5 next season with no chance at playing in the B10 title game for the 4th straight season under Hoke, there will be no choice but to fire Hoke.

Here's the box score.  Aside from MooU in 2011, it was the first real example of BorGenius' failings as an OC.  Not even 200 total yards in a BCS bowl game, fergodsakes.  Luckily, UM scored 10 points off of VaTech turnovers.

SDB - I bet Brady gets a 5th year regardless of what happens next season. Take it to the bank.

Teams today are putting up 4,5,6,7 hundred yards of offense against top 5-10 BCS teams and here we are rushing for negative yards against the 10th best run D in the B10 (Nebraska). It's a damn joke.

I expect an offensive performance like the one against O$U in every game next season because they proved they can do it. If they don't, that falls squarely on the coaches from here on out.

Go Blue!!
