Poggi has looked pretty good. Shane? Ehhh... hard to tell from games like this and offensive positions, but not so great so far. edit: Annnnd he just threw an interception. That doesn't help.

all I can say is, thank God for Devin. If we have to rely on Morris out the gate, we're in trouble.

i take it we didn't add any late commits from this game. I'll be curious to see some type of breakdown of how all the UM recruits did. All I really noticed was Morris. And he was hard to miss. He looked even worse in the skills challenge I caught.

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

He is still recovering from mono. Can take months to fully recover.

He looked pretty bad before he came down with mono though. His junior season he looked every bit of the 5 star recruit, his senior year, before the mono, he looked like 3 star recruit. I don't like the fact we're already making excuses for the kid before he's even stepped on campus. I hope he makes me eat my words, but he looks like he needs a lot of work.

you don't like people giving opinions on an opinion oriented message board? Sounds like you've come to the wrong place then. I'm only talking about him as a player. We talk about players everyday around here. Now if I'm talking about him as a person or something, then sure, by all means, call me out on it. But I'm not going to pu$$y foot around issues of talent just because they are coming to Michigan to play. He has a lot of work to do, in my opinion. If that's offensive, then it's a good thing you didn't join this board during the Rich Rod era......LMAO

Defense always looks better in these games. Kugler and Dawson looked good. Poggi was a nice surprise too.

WolvyMike you don't like people giving opinions on an opinion oriented message board? Sounds like you've come to the wrong place then. Oh, so it's ok for you to give your opinion, but it's not for someone else you disagrees with you? Ok, got it. Fact is he is still a high school senior. Let's all wait to freak out about him until he throws his first interception at Michigan Stadium The best thing for him, and the program is that Gardner plays the whole season and he redshirts.

I'd like to hear your assessment of his play in the Under Armour game, since this is what this thread is about. Personally, I think he has a lot of room for improvement. Sorry if that hurts his feelings, but if people think that's to harsh, coming from a message board poster, what do you think a coach is going to say to him going forward?

exactly. But there are some around here who seem to think he was going to walk on campus and take over, a la Chad Henne. All I'm saying is I don't see that at all.

Reports from the practices said he looked great.... QB takes timing and reps to look good in game situations.... QB has to be one of the hardest spots to be in an all star game IMO. Every time he has looked flat or unimpressive in a camp he's come back strong, I have no doubt it will be the same at Mich. Does that mean he'll be all conference nope, but he isn't a highly rated prospect for no reason.
