Bama.

Unfortunately, Notre Dame.  I am just sick of the SEC this and SEC that.  Someone else needs to win.

i can deal with the SEC thing, I can't stand anything ND.

The only thing I'll hate if Bama wins is that every fan of a team in the SEC will think they won the national championship, but I live in Ohio, so I don't have to deal with them often.  ND fans, on the other hand, are scum of the Earth, IMO

Kinda like picking between dropping a hammer on my toe or chewing on tin foil.  I'll take the hammer on the toe and go with ND.  Cannot possibly see cheering for anything-SEC or Saban.  (Note: subject to change.  Could be a game-time decision ;)

I can't stand ND. I can't stand Alabama either  but the ND fans seem to bug me more so I hope the Irish lose. Not to mention the whole "we're too good to join the B10" thing.

I don't run into Tide fans except on this board...  lol,  ND fans however are everywhere... and when they start to be good again, they are like rabbits multiply like crazy and I dare say annoy me more then Ohio fans (mind you I only have one friend who is an Ohio fan, and he's atleast level headed).

So I want Bama to win by 50.  I want...  no I need ND to not be beaten, I need them broken.

I think I'd make a distinction between ND's "subway alums" (i.e., didn't go there) and their fans at the stadium. I live about 70 miles from South Bend and have been to several games there over the years, and the worst thing anyone has said to me is "Welcome to Notre Dame." As opposed to being abused at Columbus. They may be the cockiest, most optimistic fans on Earth, but they are at least polite. One of my favorite signs from years past was on a ND RV in their parking lot: "Hey, Grbac, buy a vowel!"

That said, they WILL be insufferable if they win, and it's damn hard to vote for anything Saban, so I'll go with the earthquake.

If ND never wins another game, it will be infinitely too many. Can't stand them in any aspect. Brian Kelly being responsible for a kids death, and sweeping it under the rug - typical lack of accountability for a tragic, preventable situation. Don't like Alabama either, but I'd cheer for ANYBODY - including Ohio - against those creeps.

I hate SEC dominance but I don't have to deal with SEC fans living in Ohio.  I hate ND more and it is amazing to see how many ND fans are suddenly crawling out of the rocks they've been living under the last 20+ years or so.  I know we are all sick of hearing about SEC dominance and the whole NC streak and all, but I don't think breaking the streak is worth having to deal with insufferable ND fans if ND happens to win.

I think the ONLY time I could root for ND to win a game is if they were playing OSU.  Roll Tide...

Whenever my friend Will (Redskins fan) is watching two of his divisional rivals (Giants, Cowboys, Eagles) playing against each other I ask who he wants to win.

He always replies to me, "this is a goodyear game." By that he means he wishes the GoodYear blimp will crash onto the field, and you can picture the rest.

Well gentlemen, this to me is a GoodYear game. If a gun was to my head and I had to pick it would be Alabama.

Four reasons:
One, as much as I hate the SEC, I hate ND even more with just about every fiber of my being.
Two, my sisters family lives up in Alabama and they are all bama fans so I stick with family.
Three, my roommate is a ND fan and gave me crap when they beat Michigan so I'm looking for a little revenge in ribbing.
Four, Rudy sucks. GO BLUE!!!!

Roll Tide! But again with no playoff system this is not between the top two teams IMO. I would rather see a rematch of A&M vs. Bama. I use to respect Bryant also until I heard of the guaranteed grades used during his regime.

Never heard about guaranteed grades, umgoblue14...thought Bear was above that crap!

Like the "Goodyear" game analogy, lol
