There's not a Big Ten team who would have gone .500 in that league this year.

2-10 Kentucky, 3-9 Auburn, 4-8 Arkansas, 5-7 Tennessee, 5-7 Missouri, 7-6 Ole Miss, 8-5 Mississippi State, 9-4 Vandy ... If you don't think at the very least that Ohio could go .500 against those teams, you're certifiably off your rocker. (EDIT --->>>) Florida was incredibly exposed by a Louisville team that had almost no run game.

Maybe one reason we lose to SEC schools in bowl games is because generally the ones the B1G faces are ranked higher?

The B1G created the Bowl Lineup to play the top NonBCS SEC Schools.
The Capital One, Outback, and Gator Bowls get to pick from the top 5 available schools from each conference after the BCS, and that has worked against the B1G for the majority of the last decade. Perhaps changing the bowl lineup will help national perception.
The Winged Helmets will rise again!

Perhaps fielding better football teams will help the national perception.  The B1G is quickly becoming a basketball conference.

1)  It's called an intended exaggeration to extend a point.  Yes Alan, I do think Ohio could beat Kentucky.
2)  Because the ones the B1G faces are ranked higher???  Really?  No sh**.  They're ranked higher, they're better, and they prove it every bowl season.  But great job.
