Press Release- Michigan Head Football Coach Brady Hoke on Jerry Montgomery
Tuesday, February 26, 2013 9:34 PM
( permalink)
"We appreciate the work Jerry did in his two seasons here with the defensive ends and continuing to help build the foundation on our defensive line. We wish Jerry, Natalie and their entire family nothing but the best. "You always hate to lose members of your staff, but you know going in that at a program like Michigan, other schools and NFL teams are going to come after them. However, I am confident that we will name a new coach who fits in very well with our staff soon."

Would love to see us bringing in a young guy with Florida or DC/VA/MD recruiting ties.

It's better to live one day as a Wolverine, than to live for 100 as a Buckeye

WOTS is that it's Roy Manning's job if he wants it. Hoke & Mattison would split coaching duties along the defensive line and Roy would coach the OLBs. Manning is also a candidate for the position as running backs coach at Tennesse which was recently vacated when Jay Graham left for FSU.
