so how do we know if we made it in as alternates or not?  I'd like to know if I need to pay attention to any of these bowl games

This thing is sooo confusing to me, are we all allowed to play or not? If not, how do we know if were not playing to begin with?

The Gophers hung in there pretty good last night but couldn't pull it out at the end losing 34-31.
