The list of candidates to replace AJ McCarron as Alabama quarterback became shorter after freshman Luke Del Rio took to Twitter to announce his intention to leave the program.

Alabama's change at offensive coordinator, bringing in former USC coach Lane Kiffin after the departure of Doug Nussmeier, coupled with four-star quarterback David Cornwell enrolling early, could have played a role in Del Rio's decision to transfer.

They have the #3 rated QB from last year, the #1 rated QB this year and 3 other dudes ready to compete. I could only hope we had that type of turmoil and fallout...

Go Blue!!

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

Yeah, I am pretty sure they will be ok.

With that said, if I was a Bama fan I would be pissed Saban hired a douchebag like Kiffin as my team's offensive coordinator.  You can't tell me that Bama couldn't get someone better than that guy.

Kiffin and Saban won't get along IMO. Two headstrong, alpha males with different philosophies. Unless Saban is going give complete control I don't see Kiffin staying long.

Kiffin is only at Alabama to rehab his image and get another head coaching gig. Of course he won't stay long. Prob go back to nfl

Kiffin is a far better coordinator than HC and Saban runs the show.  They'll do fine.
