Best game I've seen in a long time.  The whole of the B1G has a lot of work to do to catch up with teams like that.  Awesome game.

Just glad the SEC didn't win tho not enamored with the Seminoles. Was thinking of the tex/mich rose bowl and missing being that good cept it seems like we lose these games in heartbreaking fashion. Still they say better to have loved and lost......than being crappy and go flippen 7-6 and getting our a$$es kicked in the wild wings bowl

Tre Mason made a bonehead play and scored too fast. He shoulda let himself be tackled on that last TD run.

A sh*t-ton of speed on the field tonight. If we want to compete on that level, we have to increase our overall team speed.

Go Blue!!

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

Speed? I am sorry, I have been a Michigan fan my entire life....this speed concept is foreign to me. What is this "speed" of which you speak?

Lmao Opus, here he is a star and speaks in tounges, while I spend my nights in reading and priding myself on my knowledge of English.. No, Winston isn't the star here..his tutor is. Sad watching though...I can only dream of our team being that good. It was a hell of a game. Did anyone else think the "star and savior" Chris Davis for Auburn got torched all night? He did have the pass interference at the end that cost them the game.

From the BCS National title games era... that was right up there with Texas/USC in 2006 and OSU/Miami in 2003 for the best I've watched.

Why are people so concerned with the way he talks? Last time I checked I want my QB to win football games, not be a Rhodes Scholar. Would love to have both, but if I had to choose I'd take the wins every day.

Because he's representing your school and when he can't string together two coherent sentences YOU (the school) look just as stupid as he does.  That's the student part of student-athlete.

He's 20 years old and just had probably the biggest moment of his life. You're telling me that during those circumstances you would sound like a scholar? I did plenty of interviews in front of cameras at 18 years old and every one of them I sounded like I had never been in front of a camera before despite being a well spoken and confident young man. It's not an easy thing to do, especially not when you have that much emotion running through you.

Who is asking anybody to sound like a scholar?  There's a difference between sounding like you've never been in front of a camera and sounding completely illiterate.  I worked in radio for years but when I first started I sounded like I'd never spoke into a microphone before.  Because I hadn't.  But I was at least able to put together a couple sentences.  The kid could be a 4.0 for all I know but he SOUNDS like an idiot.  What's to discuss?

That's fair, TK. I just thought the overall Twitter outcry about his postgame speech was a stretch and just people trying to point out a weakness in an impressive young athlete.

Especially after 3 years of listening to Hoke wrestle with the English language. At least Winston's only a player and not the face of the program.

Watch his other interviews.......last night wasn't some isolated incident.

But whatever.  I said something on another board and some clown accused me of being a racist.   The dude could use some better schooling, but if people want use the crutch of racism, I have no time for that.

I agree it is certainly something he needs to improve, no question. I was just stating that I don't see it as that big of an issue at this point and think that people pointing it out as a big issue are knitpicking.

leave it to this forum to cricitize a kids speech. He is from ALABAMA I repeat ALABAMA he talks like most southerners in the deep south talk. It is no reflection on his education nor his school. He just speaks country. Just like people from New England speak a certain way and they sound just as ridiculous as southerners or people from Canada.

But I bet all of us in here would take him as our QB in a heart beat!!!

As long as he is a good person and performs on the field who cares how he talks!!!
