"Instead of just asking, 'Hey, could I get some really good tickets to a Michigan game,' I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity that I had," Stephen said. "I figured maybe I could get them to pretend to recruit me somehow."

What Michigan gave him was more than he had asked for. Way more.

We complain about X's and O's and a lot of other bullsh*t (and rightfully so), but this is pretty f*ckin cool of Coach Hoke and Michigan!

Go Blue!!

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

Kudos to Brady Hoke and the whole football operation. It makes me proud to be a UM fan.

God bless the young man, too!!

by all accounts, hoke has always been and continues to be a first-rate person.  not sure anyone disagrees with that.  can't forget about what he did during the 2013 OSU game, when he personally invited a kid from ohio who was battling cancer (which the kid named "michigan")

I don't doubt Hoke is a first rate guy. Seems sincere to me.

I see the word Leukemia and I cringe a little. That's what my Uncle and sister n law died of. The ESPN Make A Wish always makes my eyes water.

To me, it's what "This is Michigan" is about rather than just the on-field results.  Reading the article, it's amazing to see how many VERY busy people took the time to make the day special for that young man.  Talk about beyond the call...
