This is what's so truly disturbing about this staff.  MSU turns 2 & 3 star guys to 5 star guys every year.  Our guys just get worse.

Look at their recruiting stars on rivals this year nothing but 3* kids with a few 4's. And a 2* kicker of course. That mind as well be all 4* stars. Sighhhhhh

Its going to catch up with msu....mark my words. The star rankings dont lie. SAban isn't winning nat titles with rosters of msu level recruits. Remember. this was msu first rosebowl in 25 years!

I have no idea what this is supposed to mean. What's going to catch up with them? Their team of 2/3 stars? Like the one that just splattered Michigan like a bug on a windshield, strangled the life out of Ohio State to win the Big Ten, and crushed Stanford's power offense to win the Rose Bowl? So they might not reach the national title game with those recruits, just the Rose Bowl? Is that supposed to be comforting to Michigan fans or something?

Yeah, and if moo u wouldve been in a playoff system this year, theres a good chance they play for a NC imo.......Next year could be their year, they bring a lot of their players back.  I still cant believe how many 2-3 stars they have on Defense, my goodness are they coached up.

They lose 6 guys from the defense.  Not sure I would consider that "bringing a lot of players back."

The Spartans will lose two starters at each of the three levels on defense:

— Senior defensive tackles Tyler Hoover and Micajah Reynolds

— Bulllough and strong side linebacker Denicos Allen

— Senior cornerback Darqueze Dennard and senior strong safety Isaiah Lewis.

Three more members on the two-deep are also out of eligibility: Defensive End Denzel Drone and linebackers Jairus Jones and Elsworth.

PROJECTED FUTURE DEPTH CHART
(class as of 2014)

DE — Marcus Rush, senior

DE — Shilique Calhoun, junior

DT — Damon Knox, junior

DT — Joel Heath, junior

SLB — Ed Davis, junior

MLB — Darien Harris, junior -- Shane Jones/Jon Reschke, freshmen

WLB — Taiwan Jones, senior

CB — Trae Waynes, junior

CB — Ezra Robinson, sophomore

FS — Kurtis Drummond, senior

SS — RJ Williamson, junior

The new players will have to adjust quickly as they play AT Oregon in their 2nd game of the season.

Go Blue!!

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

Given the way bowl season has played out, MooU probably ends up #2 in the AP if FSU wins the National Title.  People may say #2 is meaningless, especially since Sparty didn't even play in the BCS title games and were never in the hunt for the NC, but when is the last time UM finished #2 in the polls?

1985 in the AP Poll.

Go Blue!!

P.S. M$U last finished #2 in the AP Poll in 1966.

It means M$U can't/hasn't proven they can put back to back to back seasons together, etc...Maybe I should be more worried but until I see Sparty consistently win like this, I chalk this season up to once in a lifetime.

Go Blue!!

The only thing we have proven is we can put back to back to back suck a%s seasons together, oh yeah and lose to much inferior teams, and by pure luck alone, sneak past cupcake teams. Yeah, were hot sh*t for sure.

1966 #2 for moo u? Thats pretty impressive. Good for them. Whens the last time they won a sugar bowl? lol

Bet #2 looks pretty good to potential recruits.
