When Brady Hoke returned to Ann Arbor he vowed his teams, ”…would respect the tradition of the University of Michigan and its football program.” To rebuild the program and honor tradition Hoke has targeted players who grew up hearing about Michigan from their fathers who played for the Wolverines.

Phil, I have wondered from time to time if Mike Boren is considered to be
part of the "Michigan Family" by his former teammates ?  Do you have any way of finding out ?

I'm sure opinions vary  but even before Justin transferred I heard that people were split on Mike. I guess he rubs a lot of people the wrong way- he's a pretty intense guy.

Considering his comments when Justin left I'd be surprised to see any of the Boren family at any Michigan reunions.
