Richt actually sounds intriguing, but he's an offensive football coach, and former QB. DB has stressed an emphasis on defense. Of course, RR played as a defender, and is known as an offensive football coach (and I do mean that in 2 contexts, with the second being his record at UM).

1. Hire Jimmy Johnson 2. Sell lots of newly licensed UM hair mousse 3. Vote Johnson off the staff in week 4 if the team stinks. 4. Hire Barry Switzer's bag of bones as a replacement for the remainder of the season 5. Create a new Fox reality show to air every summer called 'Michigan's Next Top Head Coach' which will be judged largely on contestants' talent for singing, dancing and running a 5-2 defense.

Please, no. I live in Georgia, watch the games and read the papers-- including the police blotter. I also personally know one former assistant coach under Richt (he also coached under Spurrier at Florida where he played); my wife knows a former UGA athlete with close ties in the athletic department. We hear things that don't bear repeating here, and therefore I won't ask anybody to share my opinion, but I really, really don't want this guy running our program.
