He was projected as a top 10 pick this year playing alongside 3 guys that struggled in the middle. Just sayin'...

He was projected as a top 10 pick this year playing alongside 3 guys that struggled in the middle. Just sayin'...
Fair point, haha. They relatively struggled though, they didn't freshmen struggle. For the most part, the interior guys didn't struggle to the point where it negatively impacted Lewan's play. Missed blocking calls and botched assignments could make Lewan look a lot worse than he is.

They relatively struggled though, they didn't freshmen struggle. For the most part, the interior guys didn't struggle to the point where it negatively impacted Lewan's play. Missed blocking calls and botched assignments could make Lewan look a lot worse than he is.
Lewan was making the line calls & pre snap adjustments by the end of the year. That will very likely continue next year.

Lewan was making the line calls & pre snap adjustments by the end of the year. That will very likely continue next year.
Yes, between him and Barnum or the TE. One of which allowed Clowney to come unblocked so the story goes. And that was miscommunication with a 5th year senior.

I welcome him back and teamed up with Kalis, the left side of our OL could be pretty damn strong in the run game. Go Blue!!
