Brady Hoke

“Kyle Bosch has taken a leave of absence for an undetermined amount of time for personal reasons," Hoke said in a school release. "We ask that his privacy be respected at this time. We wish him the best and look forward to his return.”

He's referring to the Gibbons situation and when Hoke announced that Gibbons was not with the team because of family reasons when in reality he was being investigated for rape.

I'm with 927 on this.   Anymore, I'm taking a wait and see approach on anything and everything.

I mean jeezus, two weeks ago a kid went from saving his nephew from drowning to being nothing but a dirtbag running from the cops.

WOTS is it's a Hagerup deal and definitely NOT a Gibbons deal..  Again, just a rumor so who really knows?

If it's a Hagerup deal, then it's still shady to say he's taking a "leave of absence for personal reasons."

Now that I think about it, it's beyond shady.  It would be a flat out lie.  I really hope it's not some BS like that, because after Hoke handled the York situation so well, this would be nothing but two steps back.

Dear Wolvy,

Technically, rape is a personal reason.

I disagree. If it's a medical or health or mental issue, it would be irresponsible of Hoke to comment beyond what he's communicated.

Yes, if that's the issue than it's being handled correctly.

What I'm saying is if in 6 months down the road it comes out he got busted or tested positive for something, then it would look like a coverup.

If he didn't break the law it's probably nobody's business.  I had a guy in my office who took a 90 day leave (the rumor was that he checked into AA) but I didn't ask and it wasn't my business.  He's back and that's good enough for me.  For all we know the kid and his family asked Hoke not to say anything just yet so accusing Hoke of another cover-up is off base.

Agreed. We don't know any of the details, just wait and see.
