Is this the kind of Player we want on our team!!!

So, Scottsdale....How much was he misquoted.... one sentence, 2 sentences or is the whole article a lie?  Bottom line is, at some level he is an OSU fan and wanted to play for them.  I am sorry, I just don't like that.  I would prefer players that have always wanted to play for us.  These type of players are the first to transfer if they aren't getting the playing time the perceive they deserve. 
 
 
And if he was truly misquoted, where is the formal retraction in the news paper.  (Not some twitter post)

And MANY, MANY others. And this is not exclusive to just Michigan. How many kids in this country grow up a fan of one school and go play for another. 10,000 high school kids agreed to play with at a University yesterday and I guarantee not all of them grew up fans of that school but this is not about your heart, this is business.

This is a non-story.

Wouldn't be the first 18 yr old to say the wrong thing (if he indeed said it).  The bottom line is simple: he'll either end up being a good player for Michigan or he won't.  He'll play or he won't.  There are a ton of kids who have these same thoughts-they grow up loving one team but didn't get offered so they go somewhere else.  They still love their home team.  The better idea would be to keep it to yourself but in the end he'll either make it at Michigan and contribute or he won't.  If we're only going to sign kids who grew up loving Michigan, we wouldn't be able to field a punt team. 

Must admit to being embarrassed about allowing the media to influence my thoughts about Reon Dawson...but then, that's what happens when you deal with unethical journalism

Another misquote?? Cause they were talking about treats and he was just referring to those peanut butter and chocolate buckeye balls? Hes a big fan of those?? Hey, they can be pretty yummy lol 
 

Who cares? Lets see what he can do when he is on the field playing for Michigan. Beyond that I don't care unless he embarrasses us off the field by breaking the law or something stupid like that. Lets judge the kid from this day forward on how he represents the University of Michigan.

So in the NFL... where 90% of the players on the team grew up fans of another, you have issues with that too?
