With the way Michigan coach Brady Hoke and his staff have recruited the past two years, the Wolverines aren't just going to concede a Big Ten championship to hated rival Ohio State. Hoke landed a top-10 class for the second consecutive year, hauling in perhaps the country's best crop of offensive linemen. A few of the freshmen might have to provide immediate depth after the Wolverines lost three starting linemen. It would have been worse if star left tackle Taylor Lewan hadn't surprised many NFL scouts by deciding to return to school for his senior season. Michigan signed six offensive line prospects, including No. 2 guard David Dawson. They'll help pave the way for No. 5 running back Derrick Green, who might see early action, especially if Fitzgerald Toussaint is slow in recovering from a broken leg. Junior Devin Gardner takes over at quarterback after Denard Robinson departed. Gardner went 3-2 as a starter, completing 59.5 percent of his passes with 11 touchdowns.
Michigan jumped 11 spots. I don't put much stock in this since we haven't played a single game since the last time this dude made a poll but interesting nonetheless. Go Blue!!
Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

#5 running back? is that a ranking? I thought he was #1 in the country....Well, at least we have something to talk about... #12? I dunno, gonna have to think about that.

according to one buckeye fan, there are 5 other RB's on osu's roster that are better than Green, and that's why they didn't want him. I can't wait to smash their faces in November.

#5 RB according to ESPN, who wrote the article. We'll hold on to the #12 ranking a lot longer this year since we won't get **** punted in week 1 again like last year. Wether #12 is an inflated ranking remains to be seen, but aside from ND, we don't really face anyone that scary for most of the season, with some favorable matchups at home, where we still are undefeated in 2 seasons I might add.

I called it earlier this year in another thread. We WILL be undefeated. The schedule is so favorable, Lewan is back, Devin (I hope) will be somewhat polished, Countess won't be hurt. Unless something unfortunate happens I'm confident this team will be undefeated, or at least win the BIG.

We are still a year or two away IMO. 2014 could be the year, remember that they will have to redo the B1G schedule with the new additions. I'm glad because it was going to suck having away games at ND, Nebraska, and OSU every other year.
