It’s been a long time since Michigan has had depth at the quarterback position. Shane Morris has the talent to lead the Michigan offense and his bowl performance showed that he has the tools to compete but Gardner has no intentions of making way for anyone.

Shane has a bright future, but like DG, he will have to wait his turn. I actually think this pseudo QB competition between DG and Morris is good for both. It keeps both players motivated and they`ll push each other to be better.

I`m guessing DG is confirmed as the starter early in fall camp if not before. Basically it's the same situation we were in early in 2012 when DG "pushed" Denard.

It sounds like they have a good relationship. DG was Denard's little bro... Shane is DG's little bro. It's not a condescending matter either.

Anyone read/heard any quotes from Nuss on what he thinks of DG this spring?

Nuss's comments to the media are worthless, worst than Borges. He was around Saban too long, nothing but nonspecific coach speak.
