After an 11-win campaign and a Sugar Bowl victory in his first year in Ann Arbor in 2011, coach Brady Hoke has regressed to 8-5 and 7-6, respectively, in the past two seasons. His biggest wins have come in February, with the Wolverines landing top-10 recruiting classes in '12 and '13, but Michigan fans are still waiting for most of those blue-chip prospects to deliver. The offensive line, in particular, could not have been worse last fall; it caused problems for quarterback Devin Gardner and the running backs -- and that was before the unit lost All-America tackle Taylor Lewan to the NFL draft. New offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier, formerly of Alabama, needs to see significant growth from former highly touted lineman Kyle Kalis, as well as rising sophomore tailbacks Derrick Green and De'Veon Smith.

Go Blue!!

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

They had better be or this will be another long season. I have faith though that this ship will be righted.

Biggest concern for me is that we aren't just counting on one or two guys to step up in order for us to have a big season. We are counting on what seems like more than two hands how many guys who need to have big years in order for us to be significantly better this season.

Every year about this time, no matter what the previous seasons result, I start to get excited & dream of the possibilities. Can we go undefeated this year? With alil luck maybe! Can we win 10 games & beat tOSU this year? I think we can! Rose Bowl on Jan 1? Hell yeah!!!...But not this year. I hate always being so negative about my team, especially before they've played even 1 snap but I just can't help it. I'm jaded by the RR era as a whole & worse yet by the false hope after Hoke's 1st season & back to back top 10 recruiting classes. I want so badly to lie to myself & look at the world through rose colored glasses but I cannot, not after last season. I have lost my faith in Hoke & it's going to take a miracle for him to get it back. A miracle I don't believe he or this team is capable of producing. Good God, is this what it's like to be a Browns fan?!?! Lol

Definitely, time to start producing on the field & stop living off high school glory! Also, time for our coaches to start earning their salaries, by "coaching up" these players to their full potential!

@ UMWH, Love your signature pic, and quote!

I'm tired of seeing all our waisted 5* talent personally!
