Michigan has seven members of its 2014 recruiting class already enrolled and accounted for in the university's database. All seven will be eligible to participate in spring practice this March.

The most highly-touted early enrolled freshman is Grand Rapids Christian four-star wide receiver Drake Harris.

Harris, widely viewed as the best prep prospect in the state of Michigan entering the 2013 high school season, did not play his senior year due to a hamstring injury. But now, the No. 84-ranked player (and 10th-best receiver) in ESPN's top 100 is ready to begin his college career.

Harris is joined in Michigan's early enrollment group by four-star quarterback Wilton Speight (Richmond, Va.), four-star linebacker Michael Ferns (St. Clairsville, Ohio), four-star offensive lineman Mason Cole (Tarpon Springs, Fla.), four-star defensive tackle Bryan Mone (Salt Lake City), three-star wide receiver Freddy Canteen (Elkton, Md.) and three-star defensive back Brandon Watson (Elkton, Md.).

"All moved in! No turning back now," Speight tweeted on Sunday. "#gotime #goblue those who stay!

"Fired up."

Welcome aboard.

Go Blue!!

Ohio St.'s actions are not unlike their lower intestine: stinky and loaded with danger.

Should be a bad luck Mason Cole meme. Moves to Michigan from Florida...coldest day in 20 years.

what kind of hamstring injury did Drake have?  Was it something he had to have surgery on?  Is there recurring risks with it?  I hate hamstring injuries because they never seem to go away.  Just wondering.

He hurt it in August, then tweaked it later in the year. No surgery though, and everyone at GRCHS say he should be fine.

If Harris played his senior year, he would have shattered every single HS WR record in the state of Michigan and been a 5 star recruited by EVERYONE…the 6-4 frame will allow him to throw on some weight. Michigan’s staff will put 15-20 pounds on him, getting him closer to 200 and he’ll be a monster, and a 1st round pick. Guy would have also probably been Mr. Basketball Michigan if he played his senior year. And we’ve seen it before around the country and in the pros with basketball players turn WR/TE…they are just flat nasty. Here is just a peak at a few schools begging for his services…

Alabama
Florida
Florida St.
Georgia (AJ Green)
Michigan St
Notre Dame
O$U
Ole Miss
Oregon
Wisconsin

You get my point…I’m telling you, he’s a sleeper in this class coming in very much so under the radar because of not playing his senior year. He will turn some heads in the spring game.

I should probably calm down a bit…haha

Nah man, I'm personally diggin the excitement. We've been missig that on the football thread. I hope he lights it up! The potential we have is amazing. Funchy, darbah, and Harris all lined up together, throw in a more seasoned chess on and butt.....COULD be a field day for a 5th yr senior qb. Hell even u could probably throw for a buck fitty out there!

You and your old man arm.
