I was reading my local newspaper (The Bryan Times) today when i came across the sports page (The Buckeye Times). written by Lee Hudson he seems to think that Ohio State will make it to the BCS title game with no worries.
They are STACKED, good prediction.

Then he just assumes that an SEC team will make it as well,
SEC is always STACKED, again good prediction.

Now what gets me is that Michigan now has a spread offense but he pays no attention to that! I hope Tressel is thinking the same way on November 22nd

Michigan has a new coach, new pretty much everything, no proven offense, hasn't played a single game yet, why would anyone pick Michigan to go to the BCS? I wouldn't even touch that.

He wasn't saying they should predict Michigan going to the BCS... his point was that they're saying OSU's last however-many losses came to spread teams and yet they turn around say the Buckeyes should walk through their schedule despite the fact that there are several spread teams on there, one of which would be Michigan.

Er...saying it's a good prediction because the SEC is stacked is illogical. Ohio State is a favorite to reach the title game because they're head, shoulders and chest above the rest of the Big Ten. The SEC is so stacked that it's going to be very difficult for any time to get out of it with less than 2 losses, let alone 1 or 0. LSU got lucky last year because EVERYONE lost.

I was reading my local newspaper (The Bryan Times) today when i came across the sports page (The Buckeye Times). written by Lee Hudson he seems to think that Ohio State will make it to the BCS title game with no worries. Then he just assumes that an SEC team will make it as well, stating that there last five losses have been against spread offenses Texas (2005), Penn state (2005), Florida (2006), Illinois (2007), and LSU (2007). Now what gets me is that Michigan now has a spread offense but he pays no attention to that! I hope Tressel is thinking the same way on November 22nd
